Favorite Disney Springs restaurants?

Right on boop, Boathouse and Polite Pig are terrific. Add Wolfgang Puck Bar and Grill to that too. We were surprised that our Thanksgiving 4 course dinner there was so good.

So far we’ve tried Homecomin’ (very disappointing food, won’t try again), d-Luxe Burger (decent), Raglan Road (yum!) and Boathouse (outstanding!). We will be staying close to Disney Springs this time around so would like to spend lots of time dining there.

So far we have T-Rex on the list (solely for our son’s enjoyment haha!) and House of Blues for some shrimp and grits, but would love some suggestions of everyone’s favorites to visit! Some meals will be with the whole family, some will be adults only. Gluten allergy friendly places are a bonus!

Wow someone else who was disappointed in HOmecomin! Seems like we are pretty much alone in this.

Our absolute favorite DS restaurant is the Boathouse. Can't say enough good things about it from the food, ambience, and service - all excellent. We have made this a "must do" on every trip.

The Boathouse for us, although I'll admit I've not eaten at too many of them. Raglan Road was always on our list but hasn't happened yet.

Homecomin' the food was good (love the catfish) but they sat us near the kitchen ....
Raglan Road can be 'chancy'
Boathouse has a great pasta dish with andouille sausage
TREX has an awesome appy
Rainforest has good nachos
HOB had really good ribs
Paddlefish - calamari
Italian place by Paddlefish - great pizza that they said were personal sized but really for two

This October we Did Boathouse for Drinks and appetizers both great and service awesome we were sitting outside by the bar super fun, Then we went to Wine Bar George for the Big Board and wine both great, the service at the boathouse was better.

Earl of Sandwich is always on our list. We tried House of Blues in August. It was good, but not outstanding. We also tried Frontera Cocina and we really enjoyed that one! We’ll be going there again.

Enzo's Hideaway
Terralina
The Edison
Homecomin'
Cityworks

would be my top 5

I really wanted to like Wine Bar George, but I think once was enough. I am not a drinker and there were no outdoor seats. The ambiance inside just seemed meh and while the food was tasty, it seemed too pricy for what we had. I enjoyed Frontera Cocina (nice quiet outdoor area), Boathouse, and Homecomin’.

We ADORE Homecomin'. It's a must-do for us.

Morimoto Asia was delicious but service was slow.

Raglan Road was tons of fun and food was great.

House of Blues was a surprise hit on our last trip. Really good food and that bourbon bread pudding is haunting my dreams.

Blaze, Earl of Sandwich and D'Luxe are great quick serve.

The only place we did not care for at ALL was Winebar George.

For a food coma: Homecomin’

For excellent food & large menu + dining on the water: Boathouse

For wine & apps and something a little more adult: Wine Bar George

For all around solid menu, food and service in a low key spot: Wolfgang Puck’s Bar & Grill

Homecomin' is one of our favorites on property. Food, service, and atmosphere we think is excellent. My wife would then be heading to the Boathouse, which is great. But I lean toward toward the Polite Pig. Our daughter would probably go to Splitsville. she's picky and they have the right type of food for her there.

See, and Homecomin' was our absolute FAVORITE! We were both in LOVE w/ the food so much, and the staff made us feel so welcome. <3 Since our first meal was so good, we decided to eat there on our last day too and were just as happy. I'm damned picky too, I'll tell you. Spending money on Disney eateries in general rubs me raw as it's usually really disappointing food and I hate trowing money at poor food. But this Chef-owned place was wonderful.

I can say I actually left T-Rex angry because the food was absolutely HORRIBLE. I didn't expect much. I expected it to be on par w/ Rainforest Cafe. It was definitely one I'll never visit again, and I usually give places 2 tries to say that. Most placed Downtown Disney don't do much for us. We do want to try Chef José's place and the Polite Pig though. Both are the only places we've not tried in DS.
