What is your favorite Disney smell?

My fave smell is the oranges on Soarin'

The "Be our Guest" segment of Philharmagic!

Main St and Soarin' Oh and the POTC stale water smell.

Also the H2O+ shampoo and lotions... able to bring a piece of Disney home. Makes me feel like I'm back at Disney in a heart beat.

I agree about the monorail. I love the monorail, but it always smells like a diaper pail.

But it's such a familiar and comforting diaper pail!

I have to add, we spent our honeymoon at WL. Went over last month to WCC for dinner, first time back to that resort. We walked in the door, and I said "It smells like our honeymoon". I don't know what or why, but DH and I definitely remembered it!

Since we do so many character breakfasts, bacon and eggs reminds me of WDW! Tusker House breakfast has a unique smell, too!

I love love the smell of the Gardenia flowers/ hedges
We can hardly grow them indoors up here in New England let alone outside in a hedge.
It was my mother's favorite flower and my wedding flowers.. It's a happy sad one for me

My son says all the H20 stuff... We always bring home a supply when we go. He also LOVES all the Popcorn smells... He always cons me into buying him a box. He's an odd bird if you ask me

The Smell of AKL. I actually found candles at Kohls that remind me of the smell. So whenever I am "home" sick I light one.

Ok what candles are those...we need them!

Loved the toiletries at Pop and dont recall how the ones at AKV smelled.

And I too would love to hear about that candle up at Kohl's. Otherwise I'll be at Kohl's this weekend looking like a nut smelling all the candles, asking my DH if this smells like AKL!

I love the smell of campfires and I get that when I get off the boat at Ft. Wilderness for the the Hoop-de-do Review.

I also love the "Rome burning" scent in Spaceship Earth and the smell of the Dinosaur areas of Universe of Energy.

Magnolias--whenever I smell them at home I say "Smells like Disney!" (Esp. how they smell at the Port Orleans resorts.)

But the biggest smell (that isn't a "Disney" smell at all!) is my deodorant! I use a "travel size" deodorant that's different from my usual brand. We're coming up on our 5th trip to WDW in the past 15 months--so I've used it a lot recently. But if we are traveling somewhere else for a weekend and I use it, I always say "I'm wearing vacation deodorant"--and it reminds me of WDW!

DD and I have been discussing it and we have come up with the following:

1. The oranges in Soarin'
2. The burning smell in Spaceship Earth
3. The first room of the Haunted Mansion
4. All of the smells in Philharmagic!
5. Inside Splash Mountain
6. Bugs Life stink bug smell

Now we are sooooo ready to go back home!

I'm surprised noone has said that the chili cheese smell from the Stitch ride at MK is their favorite

THE WATER!! I know - it stinks! But it's the only place I've been in my life where the water has that smell. The first time I was there was when I was 11, shortly after the Magic Kingdom opened, and I remember noticing that the water had a unique smell. Now, when I go back, the smell of the water brings back those wonderful childhood memories of trips to Walt Disney World with my parents . . . of course, my sisters had to come along too, but oh well.

For me it is the smell of the roasted pecans when you first walk into World Showcase. I asked my wife this question and she picked the burning smell when you're on Kali River Rapids.
