Favorite Disney Smell?

Yep the oranges in Horizons would be right up there.

Popcorn in the Magic Kingdom, the lobby at the Grand Floridian, the Spa at Saratoga Springs.

and yes the monorail to me smells like a high school gym locker room.

I like the smell of the morning fresh air as I am loading up my car to go to the airport. I am the official car packer so I get up before anyone and get everything ready. It sounds great in the morning... it sounds quiet.

When we got off the cruise on Friday we spent the afternoon at the magic kingdom and smelling popcorn on main street made me smile ;)

When you walk out of the Beach Club to walk along the walkway that has Beaches & Cream, etc. there is a moist, beachy smell that just says "summer" to me. I can close my eyes and imagine it, even on the coldest winter's day.

I love the smell of the wood in the lobby of the Villas at Wilderness Lodge.

For those who love the smell of Rome burning in Spaceship Earth,
Did you know there are so many who like it it has a facebook page?!

All you have to do to have some "Rome burning at home" is buy some Liquid Smoke!
I use it alot in soups and stuff.

I agree with most, (except the smell of the monorail:sick:)

Here's a new one; the smell of the bathrooms at the parks. I think Target uses the same cleaner and it always reminds me of WDW.

Love the oranges, POC, BCV, the humid smell and vegetation and water around the world, main street bakery, and the AK lodge lobby.

This is making me miss WDW.

For those that love the Beach Club lobby smell, Bath and Body Works Rainkissed Leaves, Beach Walk by Yankee Candle and Pier 1 First Rain, are very close.

HA!

I was thinking the exact same thing, but was reluctant to post it!

Think about it, to me, that smell is associated with AC and a splash of water for the face on a VERY hot day at the parks.

That and the feeling of relief.

Luckily most restrooms at the World have the same air freshener/cleanser smell.

My favorite is the H2O toiletries in the rooms. Last year I bought a big tube of the lotion before we left and every time I use it my dd's say I smell like vacation :lovestruc

Sadly I can't find the lotion anymore, not in the giftshops or even the H2O website :confused3

Smells are becoming a large part of the amusement park business that more time and thought is being put into smells when designing an attraction. Not a Disney attraction but a smell I will always remember is the forest smell at USH ET attraction. At MK though, is the bakery smell on main street or the ToT smell in the Lobby at HS. Smells definitely add to the whole theming of an attraction.

The wet timbers at TMRR. . .reminds me of similar rides I took in my youth at Six Flags over Texas and of a tunnel I bike through here in my home town.

Add me to the list of the AKL Jambo Smell lovers! I find myself pausing at different times while walking thru the resort just to breathe in deep to enjoy the smell!

Also the H2O+ shampoo and lotions... able to bring a piece of Disney home. My sister got me a big thing of the lotion for Christmas the year... love, love, love it! Makes me feel like I'm back at Disney in a heart beat.

The slot machine scene in "Journey through imagination W/ Figment" I love people's reaction to the Skunk smell.
