Ive only stayed at the DLH when i was 6... and i loved it... lol! I have never stayed at the GC or PP but i may be staying @ PP in September when i take my friend!
We have only stayed at the Disneyland Hotel. I think it is the best because it was the original Hotel for the resort. I had always wanted to stay there and last Dec for our trip we did. It was amazing and worht every penny We spent on it. I love to stay with Disney.
Thats exactly how I feel! Although I guess I cannot say for certain since I have not stayed at the GCH yet (will remedy that in three weeks). I also love the feeling of magic and the decor of the DLH. But I picked GCH for this trip, because location wise it just can't be beat.
Hands down - Grand Cali - but, the price stinks! When I compare to FLA - I get sick - let's face it, we just lose here in LA - but what can you do - land is at a premium and that's the way it is...(Guess that's why we're moving to Orlando in June - YEAH!!!!!!)
I had to vote PPH because we were upgraded to the Newport Suite last summer & it was awesome. Only trouble was it was too nice, so we spent too much time relaxing in the room (I could live there) and not enough time at the parks. Although we were there at a crowded time, the hotel didn't feel crowded at all. (Probably because everyone was at the parks where we should have been. ) The Lilo & Stitch breakfast was our favorite character meal ever (lots o' love from Minnie) so it was nice to have it right there. Short walk across the street to GCH to the Chip & Dale breakfast, White Water Snacks and DCA entrance. I only wish there was a tram to the Disneyland entrance.
I loved the Disneyland Hotel the way it was w/ the marina, Monorail Cafe, etc., so I'm nostalgic for all that. The Monorail definitely has to be running for us to consider staying there.
Haven't stayed at the GCH. We are a family of 6 and need 2 rooms or a suite, so it's pretty much out of our price range.
The DLH will be the hotel we stay in for our first ever trip to DL in September. We have 2 little boys, and this hotel sounded great especially for the little ones.
If it were just DH and me, or if the boys were older and money were no object, I think I would choose the GCH - It sounds beautiful, with fun activities, great level of service, a little more pampering of the guests.
