Favorite disney CD's??

Hi all! I am looking to buy a CD or set of CD's with Disney music to listen to on the long drive to disney with my two little ones. Can anyone recommend a good one? I'd love it if it included songs from the parks but it I don't know if there is such a thing. I do have a sing-a-long CD which they love but I'd like to have a few more.

Actually, we will also have a DVD player in the car. I thought I remembered someone posting about a DVD about disney that was out of print but could be found on ebay. Anyone know anything about that one?

We love our "Walt Disney World Resort" CD. I got it from ebay.

Beware of ordering from Main Street Megastore. I order Spectromagic and Fantasmic from there 4 weeks ago. They would not reply to my emails (I wrote 4) until I threatened reporting them for fraudulent sales. They then wrote and told me the CD's I ordered were out of stock and they should get them within a week. AARRRRGGG Wish they would have said that in the begin. I expected the CD's quick. The shipping was almost $8 for 2 CD's.

We picked up "Manheim Meets the Mouse" on our drive down to Florida at the Disney Info Center. We love it. It was very relaxing to listen to as we sat in a traffic jam only an hour from our destination (WDW)!

I would highly reccomend Tigger Mania!!!! My kids love it and I've loaned it to my boss for them to listen to on their drive to WDW.

You can always get the free Disney planning DVD for something to watch. It shows a lot of the rides from the parks and can entertain for a little while.

My favorite Disney cd has got to be the Oh Mickey Where Art Thou? bluegrass cd. It has a lot of the classics but are different from what you normally hear

I am not a country music fan, but there was an album made a few years back called 'Disney Country' - it includes popular country artists singing some of the movie hits (kiss the girl, etc)

disney music is the best.

i've got the "magic in the streets: parade memories" cd which is wonderful and has the themes from the 4 major parades. REALLY makes you feel like you're right there.

i also have the box set which i believe i bought at amazon.com
and since it is so massive i burned a compilation cd of my favorite songs.

and i have rhythm of the pridelands which is music inspired by the lion king (although more african centered music which is AWESOME!) if AKL had a resort soundtrack i imagine this would be it.

i am looking forward to acquiring the "walt disney world resort" soundtrack cd. that's fabulous. just what i need.

also when i was at disney last year i was searching and searching for my favorite disney album from childhood : "disco mickey mouse" ALAS! it's out of print and i can't find it anywhere.

My kids are 9 7 and 5 and they love the Disney Mania CDs - these are the ones with classic Disney songs and some theme park music sung by popular artists. There are two of them and we got ours at the Disney store.

I use RipCast to rip the streaming audio at Live365.com disney music stations. Then I can burn CDs of the attraction soundtracks I ripped. It wonderful to be able to play the full ride soundtrack to Horizons and Spaceship Earth whenever I want.

This is one of my favorite soundtracks too. My favorite song from this soundtrack is Busa. This is the opening song on Lion King the movie which is NOT featured on the soundtrack for some strange reason. The song appears before the "play" menu pops up - when Zazu is flying to pride rock.

I have the Disney's Greatest Hits volumes 1-3 and love them all. It features the greatest hits from all Disney movies. one of the cd's even has the Haley Mills "Let's Get Together" track from the original Parent Trap. (i love the movie and song!) We have also just gotten back from WDW where i purchased the 2 disc cd called "Four Parks, One World" and this is the cd u are looking for if you want songs from the rides/attractions. love it so much!

Another vote for the Disney's Greatest Vol 1 - 3. Although, Vol 1 and 2 are my favorite.

I also have Magic in the Streets Parade Memories. We were picked to be in the Animal Kingdom parade in 2007--this was the perfect souvenir. If you like the parades you will love this cd. Listening to the cd--you can picture yourself back in DW!
