What Disney-related April Fools joke really tripped you up? I know April Fools is huge in the Disney Blogosphere. People love to make up rumors of fifth gates and today Disney claimed Cinderella Castle would be changed to Elsa's Ice Palace (totally believable.)
We were in Disney a few years ago for a wedding. We all forgot that it was April 1st. As we pulled up to Hollywood Studios, there was a legitimate announcement stating that Hollywood Studios had to close for the day. It sounded so convincing. It was pre-recorded in the normal announcement voice and said "Unfortunately, Hollywood Studios has been forced to close for the day. Guests with Park Hopper options may use them, etc. etc."
People got restless and the bus driver yelled "April Fools!" It definitely worked on us because we had no clue it was April 1st - it didn't click.
