Favorite diaper bag

Okay, I just tried out the bag on the Mac. It works pretty well, just be sure to take the baby out first or you run the chance of tipping. I also have the mesh Mac bag on there which I love (the one with cup holders). You can do both, in fact, the mesh bag straps help hold the diaper bag straps in place on the handles while it's hanging there.

Mine doesn't have a contrasting liner. It looks like these new ones do have a different color inside.

I packed mine a lot like dis-happy. There are a lot of places to tuck a bottle or sippy cup in this bag. I used to hang this bag on the handle of my Graco Quattro Tour Stroller. It would probably tip a Mac if you put too much stuff in it. I also hang it on my Baby Jogger City Mini with no issues.

If you want something smaller that night fit in the Mac, you might want to look at the Lands End Little Tripper: http://www.landsend.com/pp/LittleTr...B&CM_MERCH=IDX_00004__0000000490&origin=index

Yes and yes about the sippy cup and bottle. Also, there are 2 pockets on the other side...the small one is perfect for a cell phone or paci, the larger one closed and I ususally put my sunglasses in there. Everything is easy access.

There is a tiny, shallow front zipper pocket that is perfect for WDW trips. I keep my room key, DVC card, and AP's in there for quick access for FP.

There is a larger pocket flap that has slots for cc's, etc. I usually just keep a small vera bradley hand clutch in there so if I want to grab it at once I can. There's also a key hook. This pocket isn't huge but it holds a lot if you want it to.

Inside there is a large zip that goes the length of the bag. I put flat things in there (ie. disposable bibs). Plus 3 mesh pockets that are vertical...they could hold bottle too. I use them for: emergency medicine (tylenol drops, benedryl due to allergies), a spare set of clothing, a back-up bottle of Pediasure. I place diapers flat on the bottom of the bag with the wipes. That still leaves room on the end for baby food and snacks as well as my camera and an extra blanket.

It's a completely comfortable bag...slip it off the stroller and onto your shoulder and the wide strap feels great. Even when full it never seems heavy. And your arms are free to deal with the baby.

I have a pretty green one that they don't seem to have anymore. Still, I love this bag!

PS. You won't be able to fit it under a Mac. The only thing I can fit under my Mac is a very small cooler with drinks. Also, if you are going with the Mac, you may want a smaller bag. This hangs over my P3 just fine, but the Mac is a lot more tippy. Something to think about...

Thanks for the replies ladies. :) A picture is worth a thousand words, but descriptions like the ones you gave are even better.

I read online somewhere that the LL Bean Diaper Bag and the LL Bean Touring Travel Bag are exactly the same...except the Touring Travel Bag doesn't have a changing pad and the price is about $10 cheaper. I need to call LL Bean and ask if that is true before I order. I have a nice fold up changing pad that I'd probably rather use instead, and save the $$. (edit: Ignore that statement. I just looked at the pictures online, and the Touring Travel Bag does not have the 2 little pockets on the right hand side.)

I think I'm going to end up ordering both the LL Bean bag plus the Little Tripper from Lands End. The Little Tripper reminds me a lot of my Overland Equipment Donner bag (which I love), and I think it would be the perfect size for day-to-day errands.

I'm registered for the Chicco bag that matches the travel sysyem I'm getting. I carried it around in the store loaded with stuff and it was awesome!

I just ordered the Land's End Little Tripper diaper bag. I got an email from LE yesterday with a link for 20% off and free shipping, so I jumped on the deal.

I'm still debating on a bigger diaper bag though. I'm leaning toward either the LL Bean Diaper Bag or the eBags Bundle Baby Bag...decisions, decisions, decisions! :confused3

Thanks for recommending the Land's End Little Tripper. I got it for a great price (20% off and free shipping), and it arrived a couple of days ago. It was only $19.60 before tax. Although after seeing the bag, I would have happily paid full price for it.

I haven't had packed it up yet since I still have awhile to go before the baby gets here, but it looks like it will be perfect for short trips out. I will probably buy a larger bag for all-day trips. (I'm debating on the LL Bean Baby bag or eBags Bundle Baby bag for that.)

It reminds me a lot of my Overland Equipment Donner bag. (Which, incidentally, I bought for Disney and ended up liking it so much that I carry it everyday now.) It's the same basic style, but larger. I like the 2 collapsible bottle pockets on the side especially. The front parent pocket area zips around 3 sides and inside it has a key lanyard, and 4 separate slots that you could use for your wallet, cell phone, small camera, or for small baby items. There's a open back pocket that the folding changing pad fits into perfectly. Oh, and the key lanyard stretches like a phone cord, so you can still have your keys attached but open the door with it. Very handy feature.

The big inside pocket of the bag is lined with a light blue fabric, so it's easy to see things. (I got the medium blue bag even though I'm having a girl...it appears to out of stock at the moment though.) There are 2 smaller mesh pockets in there, and 1 larger mesh pocket.

There's also a sturdy zippered wet bag included, but in my opinion, it's a little too large for the bag itself. The description says it's for wet wipes, but it's way too big and stiff for that. I'll try using it, but I'll probably just end up using a gallon sized zip-lock bag for messy emergencies and a normal portable wipes container.

The bag has a long strap, so you could wear it cross-body if you want. The strap is made out of a stiff seat-belt type material, but it feels like it will soften up with wear. Another nice feature is the double zippers on both the main compartment and the front parent pocket. That's convenient if you're trying to open a bag with only 1 hand. The zipper pulls are large enough to easily grab too. The inner lining is cloth (I dislike plastic) and looks like it would wipe off to a degree. The description says to spot clean only, but I see no reason that the bag couldn't be put in the washer on gentle cycle. I would probably drip dry it though.

I know it's not in your price range, but I love my Ju Ju Be Be Spicy.

IMHO a diaper bag is something to splurge on ;)
