Any recommendations for places to eat breakfast in DCA? V's used to be our "go to" but alas.....
Just to note, my daughter is a very picky eater. I love anything with eggs in it but she won't eat eggs. She does like pancakes and french toast though. Oh and she loves fresh fruit.

DCA breakfast options are basically... Pym's. Lamplight has brunch which is fantastic, from what I've heard, but if you want an early morning option, it's going to be Pym's.

The good news is the breakfast at Pym's is pretty good. There is a french toast option for your daughter. And there's a meal with bacon/eggs/tater tots. The tater tots are surprisingly yummy too.

Lot's of choices at Craftman's Grill and it's right there. That's what I would choose for quick service breakfast while touring DCA.

Lamplight Lounge for brunch on a Friday-Sun

Pym's (specifically the French toast) for counter service.

This place is EXTREMELY SLOW. Carve out an hour, at least, if you eat here.

Best never tell her french toast is basically eggy bread then 😊.

Never had that problem.

We have that problem literally every time we stay there. We waited 55 minutes for one of our mobile orders last trip, in August. The other one took 35, for one plate of chicken tenders and fries.

Same on our trip in August. Ever since they opened up the lounge by the pool it's been bad. The grill makes food for several locations now.

We are planning on having lunch by the pool a few of they days we are there. Do you know if it's the same lengthy wait when ordering poolside too? If so I may mobile order before we even head to the pool and see if it's quicker.

I enjoyed the breakfast corndog at Corn Dog Castle earlier this week. It does have egg, though it could be avoided if you wanted to. Inside the corndog there is a smallish sausage on the first part of the stick and then a section of egg below that which could be pulled out/not eaten.
