Favorite CS at Hollywood Studios?

Need help choosing a great CS place for dinner. We'll be there next week. We are having lunch at Hollywood & Vine. We went to Disney 3 years ago and ate at the pizza place. I think we may want to try something new this time.

I can not in good conscience recommend any of the CS at the Studios ... perhaps you might want to consider something at DTD or maybe the food court at your resort.

My family and I enjoy the ABC Commissary and we have never had a bad meal there.

Starring Rolls has a wonderful sandwich selection for lunch.

Starring Rolls is decent in the morning, but the lines can be long.

Otherwise, I like the Backlot Express for lunch.

I have not really liked any of the CS at DHS... but the kids loved Toy Story Pizza Planet. It was pizza and salad - not bad, just standard WDW pizza. Line was short, but we went when it first opened. Kids loved the theme and atmosphere.

We always end up at Backlot Express or Pizza Planet (for DS). Backlot has a good grilled turkey and cheese sandwich on multi-grain bread w/roasted red peppers that is real nice, and the burgers are pretty good...

The only place we eat at the Studios is Mama Melrose. We don't like the other fantasmjic package restaturants and have "outgrown" 50's & Sci-Fi. As for counter service, we leave the park adn go to one of the resorts for lunch. If we absolutely have to stay at the Studios, we will eat something light at the Backlot.

Thanks for your input. I guess we'll have to see what strikes us that day or maybe we will just have dinner at the hotel before we go back for the evening!
