I love Vera Bradley Bags. I like the prints and they are really comfortable. I prefer the Mailbag for the size. If you don't mind something smaller, you can get the Hipster. I finally bought my Disney Vera...I could never decide since the Mailbag was not available and was not too keen on the first two pattern releases. I finally purchased a Hipster in Mickey's Perfect Petals on the Disney Store Website this morning. First time I noticed that pattern on there, and it is my favorite so far.
I love my Baggalini! Mine is gray with yellow lining. It has so many features. One thing I like is it has an ID holder with double clips to keep the money and ID from falling out, it is also a coin purse. It has pockets inside the lining for credit cards. Mine has been with me twice now to Disneyland, and I got it ready last night for my two week vacation to San Antonio, Houston, and the Caribbean!
I just ordered a LeSportsac Kasey from Amazon for $22.49! They have a few colors in the mid $20s, some in the $30s and some for the same price as the lesportsac.com website ($42.00). I got the rocket red, but I know there is a beige and maybe a gray for $26.46 each. If you aren't too picky about color, check it out!
Another LeSportsac fan here... I like that one that you can unzip and it expands as you stuff it with your sweater, or soda bottle, or...that Mickey Ghost lantern you just HAD to have. Very light, and easily packed in a suitcase.
I just bought a Kipling Jazmyn Handbag from The Bay (the purple one). The regular price was $79 and I got it for $30!! It's probably a little to big for what I need, but I couldn't resist for the price.
I like a lot of these bags, in theory, but I like to carry a sweater for night-time, water bottle, and ideally sweatshirts for the 2 kids! But that puts me back at carrying a pretty big backpack. Sigh. How do you moms carry all the stuff for your kids? Or do you just plan to go back to hotel in the afternoon & reorganize & repack for evening? My boys are too big for strollers so that doesn't help.
I carry my LeSportsac Kasey bag, but we also rent a locker every time. Not the biggest one, but one of the smaller two sizes. That's where I keep the jackets/sweatshirts/etc. for night time.
I just carry a small crossbody bag that never leaves my body with all my critical stuff...small wallet, tickets, phone. The rest goes into one backpack...sunscreen, water bottle, light jacket, snacks...that we take turns carrying.
I LOVE my Vera Bradley hipster! It holds my wallet, and a few other basic things, but you'd be surprised by how much stuff I can pack into it when I have to. I picked up one on my solo trip to DL in Nov/13, and now would rather use it than buy any other purse. I like the fact it sits flat against my body and doesn't bounce around when I move. I've had a Bagalinni, but found that after a couple of years all the zippers on it broke in a really strange way I've never seen before to a point it was too expensive to replace the zippers.
That's one place it's available--if you google it, there are lots more. It was a good size (fit camera, cap, and water bottle, with a nice little ticket/money zipper pocket on the back), very lightweight and had a wide enough strap. I've used a baggalini in the past and it's fine, but has a narrower strap, which can get uncomfortable to me.
