Favorite CP Narrators

I saw Rita Moreno two years ago, for my first and only CP, and she was great, but I think I would like to see Jim Caviezel. Will probably see Haley Joel Osment this year, as other options are not the greatest.

We will proabably book the dinner package for Haley Joel. We were going to do Christmas Eve but now that Gary S. has been taken off the list I am not sure.

Gary Sinise. Too bad he had to be removed from the list this year, although I can't go down this Christmas anyway. :guilty:

We have seen Robert Urich ( he talked about how he was cancer free ) so it was sad hearing that it came back and took him from us. He was a very good speaker.

We have also had James Avery, David Hartman, Andy Garcia ( he was great, dancing to the music etc.. ) and last year Eartha Kitt who was very good.

We will be seeing Cicely Tyson this year.

Ooh, Jim Caveziel! Jim Caveziel! Havn't actually heard him - only because he's the hottest man on earth! :lovestruc Well, after hubby. We were going this December, then changed plans for next December. He better be there! :earseek:

Thanks for your great responses!!I am now thinking about 2 CP dinner packages for just myself Haley Joel Osment and I am staying onsite for that show but am thinking of coming back from my offsite hotel to see either Cicely Tyson or James Caviezel but I can't decide which one I want to see more. Why doesn't anyone like Phil Donahue? Also what restaurants are you booking your CP dining package with I am doing Le Cellier for sure for 1 night but have never eaten there so I don't know if I should book both nights there or try another restaurant,I think I better check out the menus because Monday is the big day!!!!
Thanks!!! :)

Gary Sinise. He was spectacular and extremely heartfelt. We've enjoyed him twice now as a CP narrator.

Jim Caviezel was awesome last year. The show was the highlight of the trip for me along with seeing him in the pool at the Beach Club 2 days later! I would highly reccommend a dinner package. The night we went I could not get over how long the stand by line was. The dinner package line was also huge. I think we were about 2 countries away in the dinner package line but got seats about 10 rows back on the left side.

When did that happen? The list I saw about a week ago had him there Christmas week again.

I think it's pretty recent. The list of narrators on Disney's site now lists Dec 22nd-27th as OPEN. What a shame for those people looking forward to seeing and hearing him. I really like him as an actor.

In 2003 Gary Sinise appeared but not until after Christmas. That Christmas Eve when I was at CP we saw Robbie Benson, who did a great job. Very sincere, and he looked so happy to be there. He's not listed for this year though.

I've seen Edward James Olmos in 2002 and Andy Garcia in 2003 with dinner packages. Also saw parts of Marlee Maitlen's performance from way in the back too. I thought all 3 did a wonderful job. You could really tell that they all enjoyed themselves and really got into it. I took some pics of the 2003 performance (see link below). I did learn my lesson though with that one. I did the 5pm performance and sat further back (beyond the overhang) and a CM's recommendation. I found the 5pm still too light out to get the full effect of the candles and lights, then about 1/2 way through, it started raining. By the time it was done, I was soaked and cold.

I booked a CP package first thing this morning for Jim Caviezel for the night I arrive. Was able to get the 6:45pm performance, with dinner at 8pm. Was thinking of booking another package to see Eartha Kitt, but I may just wing that one and try the stand by line. Harry Hamlin & another actor (name just slipped my mind) are also narrating while I'm there.

I notice Gary Sinise has done this for several years (except now being removed from this year). He is one of my favorite actors and I wondered if anyone knew if this was a type of family tradition or anything special like that for him?

Hope someone knows!

It looks like we'll be at the same show. We arrive 12/09 and I booked the CP performance for 6:45pm to see Jim Caviezel on his last night. We may try to see Eartha Kitt on a later night.
