What are your favorite counter service meals at Epcot and Magic Kingdom?

We love Pecos Bills at MK! I don't know exactly why, but we do. The burgers are very good and they have a fixin's bar that you don't see other places. (Adding sauted mushrooms to a cheeseburger just takes it to another level IMHO!) Also, there are some dark cool areas to eat and unwind. We also like Columbia Harbor house.

I can't help much with counter service in EPCOT. With all those wonderful sit-down restuarants I can't bring myself to eat counter-service very often! We did try the fish & chips place in the England section the last time we were there and it was very good.

The Tangierine Cafe in Epcot Morocco has surprisingly good food, along with a tasty coffee and drink bar. In the MK, I like to snack and drink lemonade on the riverside porch at Aunt Polly's Dockside Inn on Tom Sawyer Island. Unfortunately, Aunt Polly's is only open "seasonally".

I don't know if it was because we have been so hungry by the time we would get there but we have always like the Grand Slam hot dog at Casey's' on Main Street. Just the other day my friend and I were out shopping and she turned to me and said. Boy could I go for a grand Slam right now. I agreed but again we were both starving. Wouldn't that be nice? Just zip on over to the MK just any ole time you get a taste for something.

Oh, I'm getting hungry already We leave tomorrow morning and our family focuses on rides and characters, we grab quick bites when we can, so thanks for your suggestions! Keep them coming, I'm making notes!

Chessie: you don't have to be starving to love those dogs at Casey's...there awesome....that's one place that is on the "must do" list every time we go....

The stand next to Rose and Crown for fish and chips, ditto on Tangiers. For some reason we don't like the counter service in France, everything has always tasted stale. Also the Bakery in Norway sells great cold sandwiches.

We only eat sit down at EPCOT but Pecos Bills is a must when we are at M.K.

Another vote for Cosmic Ray's at MK. I'm not sure why but we just love the atmosphere. Mostly go to sit-downs in Epcot.

Boulangerie Patessrie in France. Get a sandwhich and a pastery and sit out at one of the outside tables to give you that sidewalk cafe feel.

Definitely Cosmic Rays in MK. As for Epcot, there is a lot of variety, but if you are going for a straight counter service, I would say America.

In EPCOT we like the food fair in the Land Pavillion. There's a lot of variety, and the food is somewhat healthier, in general then in other restaraunts. The counter service place in the America pavillion is good too.
MK we love Columbia Harbor House, and Cosmic Ray's is a decent place too. CHH tops our list though.

At the MK it is a toss up between Casey's and Pecos Bills. Just depends on whether I am in the mood for a burger or hot dog. Usually eat both places when I in the World. At Epcot we usually eat lunch in the Land Pavillion.

What is on the Grand slam hot dog at Casey's?

The Dogs at Casey's come plain but they have a fixens bar that has just about anything you could think of to put on a hot dog.
The Grand slam is just a huge hot dog. I don't know what's in it and I am sure I don't want to know but it is pretty tasty itself.
