Favorite Counter Service Rest DCA

Pacific Wharf Cafe. Great sandwiches, but more importantly, soups and salads in bread bowls... need I say more? :thumbsup2

Taste Pilot's Grill - the ribs, NOT the burgers (DH and I split a 5 rib meal)

Pacific Wharf Cafe - salad or soup in a bread bowl

Whitewater Snacks. Ok, not technically in DCA but a short walk down the hall at the Grand exit. Love their chicken sandwhiches! :)

I like Pacific Wharf Cafe Monterey clam chowder bread bowl and Lucky Fortune Cookery Asian rice bowl.

Pacific Warf for a salad in a bread bowl or Whitewater for beef nachos.

Thanks everyone!

If you are not staying in a Disney Hotel is it hard to get to whitewater?

Nope, just walk right over. You may have a hard time getting back in that entrance, seems hit or miss. I carry an old room key with in case they're asking for one.

Just bring your receipt. We've only been stopped once and asked for a room key, but he said if we had a receipt from White Water, Storyteller's, etc, we could get in that way.

Pacific Wharf Cafe. Just don't like much about the other DCA counter service unless we're counting ice cream and candy shop, but those are just the same as DL anyway.

We usually have lunch at Whitewater and so far have only been asked once to provide proof of staying at the hotel to get back into the park from there. For that time, we showed our receipt from Whitewater and were let back in, no problem. Last Saturday, they still had the sign up saying the entrance was only for people staying at the hotel but no one asked us for proof when we used the entrace to get back into the park.

So keep your receipt, just in case :)

White Water Snacks or Corn Dog Castle (once it returns, as long as they don't change the corn dogs)

In order of preference,

TPG, I love the Wild Bleu Yonder burger, I get it without the steak sauce and load up on the condiment bar, I put BBQ sauce, red onion and pickles on the burger and then get more pickles on the side and more BBQ as well. I also get onion rings instead of fries. :)

Award Weiners, they have a spicy sausage that's super good!!!

Luckey Fortune Cookery, I loved the teriyaki beef!

Farmers Market... It is the only place in DLR you can get Fish & Chips! :thumbsup2

Why they sell Fisn & Chips at a "Farmers Market", rather than Cove Bar, is still a mystery to me!

Um, I think they just bulldozed through Farmer's Market to start building the entrance to Carsland. Don't know where you'll get your fish and chips now.
