Favorite Closed Attraction

Hey I’m pretty old and I think they came out at the same time. Although maybe I wasn’t old enough to appreciate Horizons as much. I just remember being devastated for my kids when they ripped Snow White out and replaced it with... what was that... oh yeah. Nothing. 😢
I miss Snow White too. I was just saying it probably wasn't being mentioned here, because people had other favorites. The "old people" comment was a tongue-in-cheek way of acknowledging that SW was around a lot longer than Horizons. Many people could have ridden SW that weren't old enough to have ridden Horizons.

I got it. I was goofing around back. Missing both. This has been a good thread down memory lane for me, and interesting to see what people miss. It’s also made me realize that Disney World’s most cherished park is indeed Epcot. Which is special because none of the parks around the world have anything like it- now or in the past. Which then means us long timers have a unique bond.

Tarzan Rocks in the AK
Honey, I shrunk the Audience in Epcot
Osbourne Family Lights in DHS
Spectromagic in the MK

I hate the Baroque Hoedown. :duck:It annoyed me in Paint the Night, too.
That's how I felt about Tapestry of Nations. I hated that parade. It was a nightmare trying to get to a dinner reservation in World Showcase, when the parade was going. Everytime someone mentions it, I still get that mind numbing chant stuck in my head. :headache:

Alright enough parade bashing 😂 jk. The world showcase is no place for a parade. Agreed. But I’m putting my foot down on baroque hoedown. That music is awesome in sparkling lights and electric sinphonetic musical sound!

Get it... putting my foot down... like a hoedown... how you stomp your foot... never mind. Dad joke 😕

Hard one. Horizons and World of Motion at Epcot. The original Test Track and Figment and Listening to the Land when they had actual people in the boats instead of the now Living with Land.
Just about everything that closed at HS, especially those things that were around when it was MGM. Backlot tour (the original one), streets of America, stunt show, GMR (that one hurt a lot). I loved the old Hollywood theme it had before.
The original FWs at MK before they started projections, I'm height challenged and the projection shows are a waste for me as someone always gets in front of me. The gondolas in the sky at MK (yes I'm that old). The original bakery at MK, I'm not a Starbucks fan.
Oh yeah. Original Test Track! My son started off on that one and then they changed it in the middle of building that memory. That stunk.

Not yet, but soon. 😞 I hope Disneyland opens before it closes so that my family can ride it like crazy before it’s gone for good.

Honestly, I'm not going to miss the DL version. We call it "Soak Mountian" because the boats can barely stay above water. I didn't want to get y shoes wet! Last time I was there with a firend who had only ever been to WDW, and it was coolish weather. We were so wet and miserable. Our mantra for the trip was "Bring back America Sings!" which is to say gut Splash and put the animatronics back where they came from.

It could use new theming, but glad it's running at the moment.

No one mentioned O Canada huh. 😂 Jk. I miss it, believe it or not. The technology was cutting edge at the time it was created.

Oh, man, I miss DisneyQuest! It could have used a bit of an update toward the end, but I always had so much fun there. I LOVED that Pirates of the Caribbean game!
I found some footage of the only non-WDW location… in its waning days…
