We are planning a surprise trip in Feb 2020 for our kids to see SW {I know it's going to be packed and probably miserable but this timing works} and probably my daughter's last trip before college bc even school breaks are getting full with "stuff". The kids are 10 years apart, so we just don't fit in two beds at this point! We would like to stay club level to take advantage of the purchasable FP program {crossing fingers it's still available then} to hopefully get close to Star Wars with FP...just did it for a December trip with our son and it worked well for us.

With all that being said, what is your favorite 1 bedroom suite? Or should we just try to do two rooms connecting? I'm assuming a suite is a little cheaper?

The biggest bang for your buck will probably be a deluxe CL room at WL if cost is a factor to you. You would get 2 queen beds and a queen size sleeper sofa. It will price out much less than 2 CL rooms or a 1-bedroom CL elsewhere. 2 rooms with CL in the new tower at CSR may serve your purposes as well. A 1-bedroom at AKL would work, though will price out more. We loved the hospitality suite at CR - it was gigantic! We stayed in a 1-bedroom, outer building in GF and wasn't really impressed. I find their suites to be on the small side (and expensive side!)

Edited to add: there is also a deluxe CL room at BWI that might work - 2 queens plus a queen pullout and it will, again, price out less than a 1-bedroom.

I was looking at the hospitality suite at the CR, where are they exactly? What lounge do you have access too? The one in the main building I assume? We stayed CL level at CR in December but were in the main building.

The hospitality suite rooms are in the Garden Wing. You have access to the Atrium Club lounge on the 12th floor of the tower. Atrium Club is the 'standard' CL at CR and is what most people are referring to when they say CR CL.

We've stayed in the "Bay Lake View - 1BR Suite - Club Level" that you see on Disney's website. This is on the Tower Club floor which is the 14th floor.

All of the suites on the Tower Club floor or in the Garden Wing at CR are quite roomy.

Agree. We stayed in one of these rooms in December, and the price and size were very reasonable for Disney prices, lol. I posted some photos of it on the Club Level thread if you'd like to check them out.

But...if you're looking for something with a king bed, the deluxe WL room won't work. We also stayed in a 1BR suite at the BC in December and found it to be one of the more affordable options as well (I posted photos of this room as well). There is a king bed in the bedroom and a pull out sofa bed in the small living room area, which is separated from the bedroom by french doors. The one feature we found awkward was that to get to the bathroom from the bedroom, you had to walk past the person who was sleeping on the sofa bed. The WL deluxe CL room layout was much better in that regard, because you have direct access to the bathroom from either the bedroom or the living room/sofa bed area. Also, the sink/vanity in the BC suite are open to the living room, so if you need to turn on the light to get ready you'll more than likely wake up the person sleeping on the sofa bed. In the WL room, you can shut the doors to the sink/vanity area and not disturb people sleeping in either the bedroom or the living room area.

For our trip next December, we booked a 1BR garden suite at CR, and it looks amazing! The draws for us are that it has 2 showers, the living room area appears quite large, and it has a king bed in the bedroom. I believe it also has both a sofa bed and a pullout chair bed in the living room, which is a plus. These rooms have access to the Atrium Club in the main tower. The downside of the CR 1BR suite is that it's not in the tower, and it prices out at several hundred (I think maybe around $500? I've tried to block it out :rotfl2:) more dollars a night, which to me is quite a jump in price, and makes the BC and WL rooms seem like a bargain by comparison! :scared1:

Hope this helps! :)
