I'm just curious but what is your favorite character meal?

1900 Park Fare
Cape May Cafe
Chef Mickey's
Cinderella's Royal Table
Crystal Palace
Donald's Breakfast Safari (Tusker House)
Garden Grill
Garden Grove
Mickey's Backyard BBQ
Ohana
Akerhus

The ones that are in bold are the ones I've never been to.

Ours is Chef Mickey's, On our next vacation we are going to try Donald's Breakfast Safari (Tusker House).

We loved the Tusker House breakfast and also really enjoyed the Garden Grill [I'm a sucker for Mickey in coveralls!]

Hey again WDWJonasGirl!!!

Of the list you gave me my family and I REALLY enjoyed Cape May Cafe and Akerhus!

Cape May Cafe we enjoyed primarily because of its low-key and much quieter atmosphere.

Akerhus we have done for breakfast and it is very nice! It's a sit-down meal done home-style. Just in case ... home-style = a pan full of bacon, scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, and sausage being slammed down on your table ... as you eat it up they bring more out! popcorn:: Akerhus is GREAT for anyone looking for a Princess fix! Before you are seated your party will be lead to a quiet alcove to have a picture taken with a "stationary" Princess ... Usually Belle. During your meal the other Princesses (Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, and Jasmine) will come to your table ... you will also be given your "free" picture (It's included with the price of the meal so it's not really free, per se :teacher: )

Since you have not done it before I HIGHLY recommend doing Akerhus for breakfast! Here's a little bonus for you ... if you make it early enough you can take a minute or two to get some REALLY nice shots inside the park with virtually nobody around!!! :woohoo:

We've been to four- CM, CP, Cape May and CRT. CM was the worst. CP was cool because we go into the MK before rope drop. Cape May had good food and was fun. CRT is now our favorite. We took DW for her birthday and got her a chocolate slipper-thanks Tanbellisma! It was awesome inside the castle and breakfast was great! Even though it is pricey we will do it next trip!

We've been to all but Cape May. Garden Grill is our favorite.

My kids favorite is Chef Mickey's! I don't know if it's the characters or the ice cream bar.:rotfl:

Our favs (so far) are:

Chef Mickey's (not the food tho!)
Tusker House
Cinderella's Royal Table

We loved Garden Grill and Crystal Palace. We liked CRT and will probably go there again because we liked eating in the castle.

Chef Mickey's has a party atmosphere. If our service hadn't been so horrible, we might have better memories of it. Well, that & the food at dinner isn't very good. Well, it's not inedible and the parmesean mashed potatoes were pretty great. The characters are cute.

Our server watched DH spill his drink immediately upon receiving it and never brought another (we saw him across the room only a couple of times) until he brought our check which was after we were long done eating.

Cape May is tops on our list. Relaxed atmosphere, great food and wonderful character interaction.

1900 Park Fare would be second. I love the elegant atmosphere and the food. The character interaction seems a bit rushed and the way the tables are set up makes it feel a bit crowded but we love it just the same.

Ours would be
Tusker House - Great food
Akershus - Great character interaction.

When we go in October we will be trying Cape May for the first time. Really looking forward to it.

Garden Grill is our favorite. The atmosphere, the food, phenomenal character interaction. But Akerhus is close behind. We've only been for breakfast but it's a repeat everytime we go we love it so much.

I like Tusker House with and early ADR before park opening. You have a nice breakfast and beat the rush to the back of the park

I loved Chef Mickey's for characters but was way more impressed by the food at 1900 Park Fare. I think if it had been quieter at 1900 Park Fare that would be my favorite. I really enjoy the characters that talk but Mickey & the gang made it fun with their napkin dance.

Tusker House by a landslide for us. We have always enjoyed the food and the character interaction. Love the atmosphere of the restaurant too. Nothing against the others (tried them and liked them), but LOVED Tusker House.

For Breakfast we have tried Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, CRT, and Akershus. By far, Crystal Palace is our favorite and we are going back again this July.

This year we are also trying 1900 Park Fare for dinner. Hopefully, we will have another favorite.

We've done Tusker House, Crystal Palace, Akershus and Chef Mickey's. We enjoyed them all. But for favorites...

food-Tusker House I wish I'd been hungrier, but with the intention of making our reservation at 8:30, I didn't realize it was for 9:40 and we'd had a tiny morning snack.

Character interaction-Akershus: my dd is heavily into the princesses and this meal put a major grin on her face. They were very good. We did lunch last time because it was the only time I could get, but we're doing breakfast next time.

We're doing them all again next trip. It's my favorite way to meet characters.

I think so far- Crystal Palace - good food, we had good service and it feels very airy in there.
