favorite CBR island

What is your favorite CBR non preferred island and why?

We were in Trinidad South, and we liked it fine. I guess we were too dumb to realize it was the "worst" one. The bus stop was close to our room, but it was quite a walk to OPR for the food court, but we had never stayed there before, so we didn't know iany different. It was quiet back there, and the pool (not far from our room, but not sure which one) was very nice and mostly deserted when we were there.

We love CBR!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of them!!!! My favorites used to be Martinique or Trinidad North but as you mentioned they are now preferred. I also enjoyed Aruba.

I've stayed in all the villages except Trinidad South, and I'd have to say my favorite is Jamaica. I like the walk across the island to the food court, and I think the buildings are the prettiest (but that's totally personal preference, obviously).

I agree with safetymom, though, I don't think you can go wrong. It's a great resort.

Beamsoflight---great minds think alike, I too like Jamaica because I like walking across the bridge to get to OPR. It is also nice and quiet. Bldg 45 is my fav.

DH and I stayed in Aruba for our honeymoon and felt as though it was the perfect location. It was just a short walk across a bridge to the food court and pool, yet very isolated. We felt like we were the only ones there. We had the quiet pool to ourselves everynight and we never had to worry about noise.

My favorite CBR island is Martinique because it's close to Old Port Royale. Even though it's close to OPR, it was still very quiet and we were able to use the bus stops at OPR or Martinique.

JAMAICA is definitely the best!! We stayed there last May and got a great rate for a prefered view (corner room). It was a quiet five minute walk over to the bridge to the food court; there was a nice playground area for kids and the pool was beautiful. Also, we had heard from these forums that this island is the first for p/u at the bus stops and the last to d/o which came in handy - this was true about 85% of the time. Needless to say, we put in a request for this same island, same room for our upcoming Sept. trip
