My Favorite Broadway Shows would be Cats, Wicked, Sweet Charity, The Producers, Annie, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, SPAMalot, Phantom, and Hairspray.

Oh Dollfi, (mind if I call you that? ) If only I'd have seen what plays you've seen! Phantom? Cats? Lion King? King and I? All the rest?? *sigh* ONE day.
And I haven't seen any plays . . . well, I saw phantom when I was like 4, and I cannot remember anything of it, excepting very loud organs. The ones I've seen on DVD and such, and would LIKE to see on broadway are:

Cats
Phantom of the Opera
Lion King
Hairspray, Chicago, Beauty and the Beast and the King and I (are all never-seen-really-wanna-sees)
and many others . . . I am so going to New York.
-Oh, and if I had to pick just one, it's Phantom hands down.

I saw a thread about Broadway, and I had to respond! My fave shows are Wicked (which has been seen by Tinkerbelle22 5 times), Rent (saw it once, will see movie hundreds of times), Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (saw it 3 times, and I'm in love with Norbert aka Freddy Benson aka Ruprect), and Les Miz (saw it once, it's off B-way now). I hope to see Avenue Q soon, as well as POTO. Glad to see fellow Broadway lovers here. As Maureen in Rent says, "this diva needs her stage!"

OMG. I just saw Avenue Q last night. IT WAS AMAZING. and SOOOOOOOO HILARIOUS.
if you've never heard the music, listen to it. the cd is funny, but seeing it live is even funnier!

I have never seen any broadway plays but i really want to see at least one in my lifetime. So the ones that are my favs that i want to go see are:
Wicked
Hairspray
Throughly Modern Millie (which i don't know if it is still running)
Lion King
Beauty and the Beast
