favorite breakfast chain restaurant?

Thinking about this over my rootie tootie fresh and fruitie pancakes this morning (yes, I breakfast in all the best places).

What's your favorite breakfast chain?

Around here we only have International House of Pancakes and Denny's. When we travelled in the South this past summer, we tried Biscuitville and the Waffle House.

Realky like the Waffle House.

But I think Denny's is my favorite.

Honestly, when it comes to breakfast, I prefer to make it at home. Breakfast is probably the easiest most filling meal of the day to make at home. Plus my home-fries always taste better, and I get all the bacon I want.

I love the Waffle House... or the 'affle House" as one comic called it!

I also like the Chick Fila Dwarf House in our area that has a breakfast buffet and a separate menu for sit down. The food is soooo good!! We go once a month and it's so worth it.

We also have a Greek Pizza restaurant in my town called Chris' which serves the best BIZZA (breakfast pizza) in creation. It's not cheap, $13 for a personal one, but it's so rich it could feed 3 people. We moved out of the area but travel in town to go there at least once a month.

Okay my favorite breakfast is the buffet at the casino. The chef makes a to die for seafood omelet.


Now my favorite chain for breakfast would be Cracker Barrel.


But my favorite I could go to where I actually live and would take less than 30mins to get to would have to be IHOP.

Breakfast is actually the only meal I'm really GOOD at! But what I'm even better at is sitting and having it come to ME!

My favorite isn't a national chain, in fact I think there are only a few -- The Broken Egg. Whenever I visit my mom in Huntsville, AL I HAVE to go there. Just found out there is one 2 hrs away from me in Sarasota. Two hours isn't too long to drive for breakfast, is it?

Favorite national chain for breakfast is Cracker Barrel.

I never heard of Biscuitville. If it is a national chain it is one of the very few that has no outlets in the Orlando area.

The major ones you left off are Cracker Barrel and Perkins and Bob Evans.

I am torn between IHOP and Denny's. As you can see, I also frequent high-dining establishments.

I voted IHOP. Even though I can't live without my Slams, I have to give credit to our IHOP for just putting the coffee carafe on our table for faster refills.

IHOP. When I lived in Philly there was an IHOP in my neighborhood and I used to go just about every day. It got so that they'd greet me by name.

We have a local Waffle House and it isn't that good. Everyone was so excited to have it come but yuck.
