Are you the kind of person who likes different and weird names? Or are you orthodox and stick to popular names? I am both, but mostly weird.

For a girl, I like Adelaide, Audrey, Elizabeth, Cayenne, Autumn, Tamara, Cadence, Constance, Skyler, Kira, Caroline, Emma

For a boy, I like Ryder, Christian, William, Frank, Hudson, Jaden, Connor, Corey, Jesse, Caleb

What do you guys think?
You can post opinions of my names or post your favorite. Your favorite names and opinions will be helpful to my aunt, who is expecting her second baby this month and still doesn't have a name.

I prefer traditional names. My 3 boys are: Nicholas, Alexander and Benjamin. :):):)

My name is Elizabeth and I love it!

I don't care for most unusual names, I think the child probably gets alot of teasing.
I like Elizabeth, Sarah, Katie, Caroline, Chela, Kira
For boys, Brian, David, Jesse, Mark,
Billy

I prefer more traditional names, not a big fan of the unique names (especially the funny spelling ones!).

My kids are Lukas and Isabelle. This new little one is going to be Amélie Juliette. If she had been a boy she would have been Henri (or Henry) after DH's grandfather that was killed by the nazis during WWII.

Wow...two people have picked Caroline...I can't stand my name!!

For a girl, I love - Emily, Elizabeth, Alison, and Megan

For a boy, I love - William(my favorite boys name, ever) and Christopher

My kids names are Trenton, Noah, and Aubrey.

I like the names:
Girls:
Emma
Jacie
Reagan
Logan
Alexis

Boys:
Mitchell
Jack
Jace
Alexander
Brendan

Hope this helps your aunt a little--best of luck to her!

My cousin, who just had a baby at 9:52 p.m. on May 17, named her daughter Brooke Allison . That name fits perfectly (I will not mention their last name).

I really want to name my little girl Alison Marie when I have one, and my boy will be William Daniel....i love them both :teeth:

My aunt who is having her baby on the 1st, won't tell the names they're thinking of  don't ask me WHY!

My future kids' names are
Cadence Elisabeth
and
Brett Michael

My boys are named Matthew, Ryan, and Jack.

If they were girls they would have been Katherine (Katie), Allison (Allie) and Abigail (Abby.)

I also like Aidan, Alec, and John.

For girls I like Kira, Caroline, Elisabeth, Annabelle, Isabella, Lily, and Ava.

I love the name Abigail, which is what I named my daughter:love:
and I like the name Connor if I ever have a boy.

I tend more toward the traditional - DD is Emily Paige.

I like: girls - Emma, Hannah, Grace, Katherine; boys - Harrison, Sloan, Joshua, Zachary

Lisa

DD is 17 and we named her Whitney I loved it 1986 and she loves it now. It was great choice

DD is 15 and we named him Derick . I loved it in 1988 and he loves it now . It sounded like a strong name and I didnt spell it like other peoole cause I thought it should be short and to the point no double R :teeth:

Now if I had been able to have children with my 2nd DHand might I add final DH) I would have named the poor kid something like

James Frank (because of my 2 grandfathers that have passed)

DanceBabe16,
I tried to get my DH to name our DD Holland(6mos) Cadence, but he said NO. I also tried Hastings. I waited until he went to Iraq to decide on Holland. ;) I spelled her middle name Elisabeth since I hate writing cursive z's.

I like traditional names. I think because I have an unusual name and I HATE it. I just wonder, people who like unusual names are their names unusual also or traditional. Believe me, its tough having a name no one else does. My DS's name is Brandon John, Brandon is his name, John after his dad and Great Grandpa. DD's name is Haylee Helene, Helene after her Great Grandma. I LOVED Brandon from the beginning, but I wanted to name DD Isabella or Riley. DH hated both. He liked Nicole, which I didn't like. We compromised with Haylee.

My husband and I talk about baby names on and off because we want children in a few years. Here are the names I like:

Girl Names: Zoe, Avery, Constance, Brielle

Boy Names: Zachary, Chase, Tristan,

I'm with ya! My name is Andra and I have answered to almost any name starting with A! I have tried to correct people, but they just don't either listen or remember. I have been called Andre, several pronunciations of Andrea, Audrey, Audra, Ondra, etc. At least I know who my real friends are, by those who pronounce my name correctly! Therefore, I wasn't going to do that to my kids - DD is a Sarah (and is very happy with her name), and DS is a Raymond (not necessarily my first choice, but DH wanted a Jr.) Ray, Jr. is happy with his name. No confusion on those names. I also wanted gender specific names, so there was no guessing!

Life is hard enough without having to remind people what your name is all the time! But as a result, I am very good at remembering other people's names - usual and unusual.
