We are a family of 5 flying from Wash. state to MCO in March. I'm wondering which sites do most of you use when trying to get good prices on airfare. I have been using Travelocity and checking on Orbitz but on Orbitz I don't like that you can only put in a search for no more than 4 people ,there is no way I would grab a good price on 4 seats and then search for one more and find that there is not another seat! Any tips from those experienced in this would be great! Right now I have reserved air for our Disney Cruise with Disney but final payment is not until the end of Jan. and I hope to find a better deal on my own and drop the Disney air while I still can. Disney air is 613 per person(with transfers) that is almost as much as the cruise costs per person!

I find Travelocity and Expedia to be the best sites if you want to make a quick comparison of all airline's fares. (FWIW, I have never found the best prices at Orbitz.) Travelocity has a nice feature called "Fare Watcher", and Expedia has a nice feature called "Fare Compare".

I usually wind up checking each individual airline's sites multiple times a day...one day NWA out of Grand Rapids, MI went from $188, to $296, to $207 within a 15 hour period. Just keep checking until you find something you can live with.

What I do is I check Orbitz. Then once I found one that gives me a good rate I goto that airline's website and book from there sometimes you get better rates, sometimes you get more miles for the same rate, and sometimes it is never the same rate. The most you can do is just keep looking. The best day to look for airtravel is on Wednesday, I use to know the exact hour to look at. My wife use to travel a lot and I had to do all the booking for her. She is now PG so she doesn't travel that much right now.

My favorites are travelocity, expedia, orbitz, and cheaptickets. I also double check prices with the specific airline's website once I find a flight I'm interested in. Good luck! :D

I use www.qixo.com , once I find the flights I want, I go directly to the airlines website. It's usually $20 cheaper directly through the airline. Qixo takes a little longer to search, because it searches many airlines.

I go directly to the specific airline. I only fly SWA , Delta and Air Jamaica, so, it is faster for me.

Try Bestfares.com. I have never bought through them but i have found good prices.

Definitely go to Southwest.com. I am from Portland and we got our round-trip tickets for $190- includes taxes and fees. For four of us to fly coast to coast for under $800 is unreal. And I've always been extremely happy with Southwest- this flight should be good cause it's only one stop- and we don't change planes. Good luck!
