Fave bag to carry at parks?

I have a Vera Bradley backpack I've used in the past, we normally go in January. I noticed that it's really hot on my back to carry, even in January, soooo I'm thinking it's gonna be way too hot for all that on our fall trip.

I would forgo carrying anything at all since it will just be DH and I, however I like to bring bottled water to avoid paying for expensive drinks.

Anyone have a lightweight backpack or maybe a crossover they really like? Good storage but not cumbersome??

We bought Disney string backpacks, great souvenir and pretty light. I prefer that to a crossbody or purse. I like to just take a camera in my pocket if I can, but we usually want water bottles, some other things so we need at least one, probably two string backpacks.

I personally love my baggallini crossbody! They are durable, lightweight, plenty of pocket space, pretty roomy and are so easy to carry through the parks. I would recommend it to anyone.

We carry cinch bags. They're low profile and can't hold enough to be very heavy.

I either carry a small crossbody bag called the Mini Mac by Rebecca Minkoff or my belt bag which has 2 square compartments, one which Velcros shut and one which zippers. There is also a long flat "hidden" pocket on the back. If not those, I use one of those cinch/string backpacks since they are so lightweight and durable, and if someone tries to pry it open you can feel it happening! Those always work great for us.
