I'm going to Disney in less than a week w/ three friends and I was wondering where the best place to eat around the Boardwalk. We're all poor college students and don't need anything too formal or expensive. Any suggestions?

How about the takeout window at Spoodles? Good pizza.

Beaches and Cream is also good. Tubby's at the Dolphin. Dolphin Fountain.

There are a couple of food service windows/kiosk places. One that serves pizza, another that serves hot dogs. ESPN Zone is great, if you get there when there isn't a line down the boardwalk waiting to get in. They have good sandwiches, wings, drinks. Also if you go across to BC, Beaches and Cream is also great. The burgers are good, and there are other sandwiches to choose.

Have a fun trip.

Big River Grill and /or the ESPN place would be good for a "sit-down" meal.

This Aug DS & I are planning on:
Yacht Galley, ESPN, Beaches & Cream, Cape May brkfst, Spoodles, BC Marketplace, Boardwalk Bakery, Fresh

This July we are planning on checking the Boardwalk out, haven't been there yet.

We have PS'S at Spoodles on our Epcot day, menu looks really good.

Spoodles is a great restaraunt. They have tapas which are for sharing. You could order a few of them and have a great meal. My DH, DS and I do this and it is awesome. Then you all can just split the cost. Here is a link to the menu to see if there is anything you may like.

Hope you enjoy your trip.

On the Spoodles menu there is the Tapas to Share. What are lamb cigars and grouper cheeks??? :confused3 Thanks! :)

I would go to Beaches and Cream. Great burgers and yummy sundaes. Not too pricey, either. :sunny:

Epcot's World Showcase is only a 3 minute walk from the Boardwalk. They have the best counterservice food--Morocco's Tangeriene Cafe is my favorite. The French Bakery has awesome desserts. There's also a Chinese, Japanese, Mexican food and Fish and Chips from the UK. A lot of variety for a big group. Of course, this would only work if you have park tickets.

Well, do you want the best place to eat? Or the least expensive? :rotfl:
The best place is probably Flying Fish. Inexpensive it is not.
Good and cheap are not often in the same sentence anywhere on Disney property. :scratchin

I resisted the temptation to say the same thing! :rotfl2:

Big River Brewery & Grill...not too expensive, good burgers and great beer. Ask fr the sampler :goodvibes

We ate at Spoodles for an early breakfast last Thursday. We both had the breakfast platter. It was well worth the $11.99. Our meals started out with three pastries EACH, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage patty, breakfast potatoes and challah (sp?) bread french toast and it was all you can eat. We were good to go until our dinner PS at Jiko at 6:15. We would defnitely eat here again. The atmosphere was beautiful and it must be a well-kept secret as it wasn't too crowded at all. In fact, we pretty much walked right in. :flower:
