A full all out battle royale of all the dining. Part 2 HS Area (I'll add other area polls as fast as i can... who needs to work today. lol)

Pick up to 3, also post something you feel is missing (maybe i can add/edit it in) Poll will only allow 10, so instead of Oga's or another resort, i put "Other" so post it if you think it should be on here.
I was going to add some Swan & Dolphin stuff, but there is just too many. lol

Poll closes Dec 31st Then we'll do the battle royale final of the top winners, next year. ;)

I put “other” because we love the HBD Lounge.

Second is Baseline Tap House. Great spot for a quick break and snack.

You don’t like the regular restaurant, only the lounge? I would assume they are basically the same.

Brown Derby & SciFi. I'm much more attracted to the vibe/atmosphere of a dining place than the food. As an oldster, I love those 50s scifi flicks - grew up on them.

If I had to judge on food alone, I would pick Hollywood & Vine.

Brown Derby and Sci-Fi were both great, I agree!!!
But I am surprised H&V has so few votes if the food quality is so good, but maybe it’s the price point? (I left out Victoria and Albert’s for just that reason)

Next trip, we'll probably do H&V. We did 50s PT this past April, and it wasn't quite a good as I remember from three years ago. I should have checked RR. We really liked the theming. Tons of food there - we managed to eat all the meat, but had some sides leftover.

I love the theming at PT but is the food that great? What do people get there that is really good.....yes the shakes are great!!

I’m an idiot. lol

They are similar; yet, different. (I know, that really clears it up, lol)

Lounge has a different feel, but we do get items you can get inside (charcuterie and cobb). But overall the vibe is very quiet and relaxed outside. Just something about it we enjoy more than the actual restaurant. :confused3

Awesome, I will have to try the lounge next time!!
It doesn’t take ADR, just a walk up waitlist?

Since the lounge was mentioned I will go one step further and say the HBD Bamboo Room. With DS having sensory issues this part of HBD is a game changer as it is at least 50% quieter than the normal dining room.

Brown Derby cobb is good, but they really reduced the turkey portion size on my last trip (like 2 forks worth). The grapefruit cake is superb.

I was at DB7 a few weeks ago and got the hummus/naan bread with meatless meatballs. I got it there this past spring and was a little bit different (coloring) but is still an excellent dish.

We like Backlot Express if we are eating later (730 - 8 pm). After a crowded day, it is pretty empty and quiet and we can relax a bit.

I’m surprised Round Up Rodeo isn’t higher. Granted, it’s always a bit of a hot mess before you even step foot in the restaurant but I found the food to be solid and the portions plentiful.

I think the only time we have dinner at HS is when we want to do the Fantasmic dining package. We always chose HBD for the nicer, sit down style restaurant. Fancy, I guess. Probably the only type in HS? Not sure of that, but the others on this list are better lunch options or at least more casual IMO.

We liked Sci Fi. Cool experience. Park type food. Nothing I would consider special, but it was neat. Kids enjoyed it.

I'm usually just looking for a beer when I'm at HS, so there are plenty of those options.
