Faux / Knock Off Italian Charms

Daxx's Wife here -- do any of the stores sell the faux/knock-off Zoppini type Italian charms? You know ... the cheaper version? My niece has a cheapie knock-off Italian charm bracelet and is asking us to pick up a charm for her at WDW. I certainly don't want to pay the $20+ prices for a good charm when she's got a knock off bracelet. Thanks for any info.!

I paid $4 for my charm. It's just a simple little mickey shape w/ white jewels. And I only bought one because I have one of the High-end bracelets. And i got mine at the Mickey's Philarmagic store, but there are lots of places with them.

Thanks for the info. Do they have many styles? Characters? Icons (castle, EPOCT, Sorcerer's hat, Tree of Life)? Or just jeweled Mickey's? Thanks -- I'd like to get her what she wants ... and knowing this would be helpful!

Yes Daxx's wife. There ae lots of cheaper charms. GO to DTD to the World of Disney Store. They have a room of jewerly. The cheaper charms are out & on a rack & the $25 & up charms are behind a counter & a CM must help you.

I bought my niece 4 more for her bracelt this past Christmas. Ariel, DOnald, Cinderella & the Prince. This is where I have seen the BEST selection of the charms.

Thanks for the info., Gina! I know WoD well ... esp. that jewelry section! lol! I couldn't remember if I had seen those Italian charms when we were there in Oct. '04 ... and didn't want to make any promises to my niece that I couldn't keep! I'll get her list of wants and am sure I'll find something she'll love!

Be careful of the ones with the stones in them! I went through 2 of them in less than 2 months, the stones fell out. The same thing happened to my friend's. If she wears it all the time, go with the non-jeweled ones. They just recently added the danglers to the cheaper charms so they expanded the different characters that are available.

Sometimes the discontinued more expensive charms are on sale. You would have to check with that desk to find that out. I think they had some of the $25 charms for $15 the last time I was there, but they weren't that great of charms (hence their being discontinued)

man...I never saw the "expensive" ones...I guess i should have been looking more. I would have gotten one instead of the cheap one I got...cause my grandparents put over $100 into my bracelet for my birthday...and yeah. Sorry...rambling. Maybe next time....whenver that will be
