Father's Day

Does anyone know if DW does anything for Father's Day? We will be arriving that morning and if there is something special that they do, I can steer DH in that direction and surprise him.

You might want to check all ears site for any special dining menus. We were there for one fathers day and stayed at the Poly. Resorts guests (kids) could make cards at a special station set up.) I had made a ps for dinner at chef mickeys well in advance. It was completely sold out. I couldnt believe people were just coming up with no ps asking for a table, on a holiday no less, I quietely smiled to myself as the cm said, no I am sorry, we have been sold out for months. My dh and my 3 ds had such a great time at chef mickeys that night. Hence, if you want to eat anywhere special that day, make a ps well in advance.

When is Fathers Day?

June 19, if I remember correctly. We had a mother/daughter trip planned and were supposed to arrive on the 18th. Man, did I feel bad when I found out it was Father's Day the next day and we would be in WDW and dh would be in Ma!!!! But, he changed his mind and is joining us for 5 days. I'll be looking for someplace neat to eat that Sunday.....maybe 50's since we'll be at Chef Mickey's the night before.

About all I know that was "special" was a LE pin released. I would encourage you to make a ps for that night though (or any meal that day). We've eaten at Boma the last two years on Father's Day and there were no walk-ins early on in the evening. I don't know about other places, but I would assume that they would be busy.
