Father's Day?

Our Father's Day is this weekend. When is yours? I know our Mother's Days aren't synced, but I saw something in one of your newspapers which makes me think our Father's Days collide.

Ours is Sunday so I guess we celebrate that one together - weird huh that we don't on Mothers Day ?

Mother's Day in Uk is based on the Church of England festival Mothering Sunday a day during Lent when people origianlly made a pilgrimage to their mother church or Cathedral. Over the years (I think because people in domestic service got the day off and visited their own mothers) it's become the celebration it is today. Father's day, I beleive, we pinched from the Americans.
