Help! I just realized that I will be at WDW over Father's Day! Any suggestions for somewhere cool to go? Any help is appreciated!

How about the ESPN Club on the Boardwalk. The food's not bad and the atmosphere's neat. I would recommend going at lunch as it is MUCH less crowded than dinner.

Also on the Boardwalk, there's Big River Grille and Brewing Works. It's a brew pub with a bunch of different beers and it's honestly one of our favorite "hidden" restuarants in WDW. Not many people go there, but we think the food is great.

We'll be doing Father's Day at WCC at WL. I think my DH and my Dad will like the BBQ style fixins and the fun atmosphere.

What a special Father's Day, eh?!

I'm having DH and DS wear matching shirts - Big Guy, Little Guy shirts.

have fun!

I struggled with this one too. I wish Disney does something special for dad's as they do for mom's, especially since my husband is a stay at home father who deserves the world on his special day. I asked him where he would like to go and he chose Contemporary Steakhouse, so we are going there. I was thinking of ordering room service that morning for him and possibly having a cake or some other sweet treat delivered to the room that afternoon - we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I had thought about the ESPN at the Boardwalk. I had also thought of Le Cellier. We will be at Epcot that day....
As for the DH, he doesn't drink so the brewery wouldn't be his thing, he loves Mexican food, but we ate at Mexico last year and didn't really like it. He does love steak. I'm torn. And I do agree that Disney should come up with something for the guys like they have for Mother's day. I called and asked the Disney Reservation agent for suggestions and she didn't have any. Thanks again for all of your help!

hmmm- what if you ran into your best friend there with her husband and kid - maybe you could do something together? HA HA HA HA HA HA

I love that I found one of your posts!!!

If you're going to be at Epcot I would suggest Le Cellier or take a stroll on over to Yachtsmen Steakhouse. Both would be very nice.
If he wants to have a fun meal with lots of interaction I would suggest 50's Primetime Cafe.

Hope you have a wonderful trip! :wizard:
