Fate of Test Track ????

What does everyone think will be the fate of Test Track when or if GM pulls out of sponsorship?

I think that someone else will sponsor it, however, if not, I think Disney will continue to operate it until a sponsor can be found (once the economy is better perhaps). This is too popular of a ride to shut down.

Disney has operated many of the Future World rides without a sponsor, sometimes for years at a time.

It's a great ride, but I'm not sure any car companies are in a place to take over sponsorship. Hopefully someone will save the day like Siemens did with Spaceship Earth, but who knows...

I've always wondered why Disney doesn't just sponsor the good rides themselves... ?

Seems like a seamless transistion to a Cars themed ride could be implemented.

A GM sponsorship pullout is almost inevitable. Rumors have GM filing for bankruptcy within the next few days....

The news in Orlando reported that Toyota has an interest in picking up the sponorship of the ride. I am sure Test Track will still be there one way or another.

It should be- it is such a great ride! I can't see them removing it.

Toyota would be a good company to pick up sponsorship, but I hope they don't use the Prius for the ride vehicle.

Can't you just see your final mph being like 36 going into the curve.
