I made chocolate cupcakes for my office mates.

I made brownies foe the office which contain Grand Marnier. There's lots of other goodies around here too.

I will be going to get some paczkis later.

My DD made petit pois (cajun baby peas) for her French class. They are having a bunch of food for Mardis Gras.

will have pancakes and sausage for supper. With lots of butter and syrup.

See, we always used pancakes on the meatless days for supper. I usually save those for Fridays and eat some big MEAT meal tonight!!!

At our Episcopal church, we eat Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday.

But there are quite a few folks of Chech, Slovak, and Bohemian descent around here, and paczki are quite popular too.

We have a table in the office loaded with snacks. I can see donuts, paczkis, various dips and spreads, crackers and chips and a chocolate cream puff dessert that was my contribution.

We ordered a Cream Cheese King Cake from Gambino's!!!!

It should be here by noon! I'm sooooo excited!

I really have never heard of Fat Tuesday. Is it the same as Shrove Tuesday? Around here we just have pancake suppers.
