Fastpass+ with overlapping/split resort reservations?

I have not yet fully decided in which resorts I will stay.
So at the moment I have two parallel resort reservations at the same time for the same period.
My 60 days for Fastpass+ start on Friday 7. August

I have two questions:
1) Now I'm worried that if I cancel either of the two reservations later on, my Fastpass+ booking might get lost. -> Does anyone know how the system behaves in such a case?

2) I am also considering to split up the two reservations... that means, I stay half of the time at one resort and the rest at the other resort. -> similar to above at question 1)... if I book Fastpass+ on 7. August and then some weeks later "split up" the two reservations as described... will i loose my fastpass+ reservations?

I hope anyone has experience with this.... I would really hate to loose my fastpass+ reservations...

I believe your FP+ reservations are linked to your park ticket not your room reservation. Because you have a room reservation you can book 60 days out instead of 30 days like off site guests. You shouldn't lose any FP+ reservations if you change your room reservation.

That's what I hope as well.
So I will wait and see how the system really behaves.
