My Fastpass window is starting on 1/2/16, and I want to verify the time it will open. I have seen both midnight and 1:00 am. Can anyone let me know when the window actually opens?? Thanks!!

So does fastpass+ open at midnight always? Mine opens on Monday - so I could do it at midnight Monday eastern time?

From my experience last week, yes... It opens at midnight. We are staying off site so I needed to make my plans one day at a time. Each night the new day was added right at midnight.

That is correct. (And to be sure, that means essentially Sunday night, not Monday night.)

Can confirm that FP+ window is still opening precisely at the stroke of midnight ET.

January 9 is my FP+ day (60 days out from March 9), and precisely at 11pm CT tonight January 8 (about 30 minutes ago), I was able to book FP+ for March 9 through March 16. (I was only able to see 30 days out at 10:59 but when the clock struck 11:00, the pumpkin turned into a magic coach...)

Was able to book everything we wanted, and then fine-tuned the time of each attraction to the master plan I had drawn up for each day.

Worked without a hitch!

g-dad66 how long did it take to setup FPs and make any adjustments to time. I'm setting Monday night and this is my first time using FP+ system.

Took me about 20 minutes, but I have done it before, and I knew exactly what times I wanted for each attraction.

My procedure:
1 - Start with day that might have most difficult FP+ to get (Mine Train at MK)
2 - Pick the 3 attractions for entire group
3 - Of the 4 time options offered (A, B, C, D), pick the one that is farthest away from the time frame I want (we generally want FP+ in late morning/early afteroon, so I mostly picked the option with the late afternoon/evening times)
4 - Repeat Steps 1-3 for each of the remaining park days (I did Epcot days next, figuring that Test Track might be in high demand with Soarin closed)
5 - Then go back to the "most difficult" day (Mine Train) and Change the Time for the Mine Train to desired time, then change the times of the other two attractions to the desired time
6 - Then repeat Step 5 for each of the other days

I was able to switch every single attraction to exactly the hour-long window I had predetermined that I wanted, or a window that was only 5 or 10 minutes off from my plan (except two cases which were 15 minutes off from my original plan)

So now we're all set for the actual in-park experience when weather, ride breakdowns, illness, etc. waylay the best laid plans of mice and Mice-lovers....:)

Wow that's awesome. Thanks for the details.

So I can book all of mine for my trip March 11-15 at midnight tonight? With it being Spring Break I figure I'd best stay up and do it then rather than wait for the morning.

Good to know! Nothing really super "have to do" as we are there so often but it's good to know that I only have to do it once!

Everything went smooth except Toy Story was gone in 8 mins so we modified with TOT and will head straight to Toy Story at rope drop......Thanks for all the help.

Ok so I see why Toy Story wasn't available........forgot about the tiers. I picked RRC with Toy Story so no Toy Story......went back in and changed it......wow Toy Story was still there for 10:40am and we'll now go to RRC at rope drop. Don't forget about the tiers like this rookie :)

And don't forget that you can also do single rider for RnRC if that's an option for your party.

I am coming up on my window and have never used the new FP system. I get everything but this. Why should I pick the time option farthest from the one I want? Confused.o_O

If you see an option that has exactly what you want for all rides, go ahead and take it.

The point about first choosing the option farthest from the time you want is to facilitate adjusting times if you need to.

Say you want MK fastpasses late morning/early afternoon. You choose your 3 FP, and Option A has the following choices:

Space Mountain - 10:00 - 11:00
Big Thunder - 12:00 - 1:00
Seven Dwarfs Mine Train - 5:00 - 6:00

Space and BT are just where you want them, but you have an ADR at 5:30, so you would want to move 7DMT earlier. But if you choose Option A and try to move 7DMT earlier in the day, the Space and BT FP you have booked will really limit your choices for 7DMT, because it would not show you options during the Space & BT FP times, or overlapping them.

So initially choosing, say, Option C, which might have these times:

Space 4:00 - 5:00
BT 7:00 - 8:00
7DMT 9:00 - 10:00

You could then go in, one at a time, and modify them to the time frame that works for you. Late morning and early afternoon are a "clean slate" for you to modify into. Do 7DMT first, then the other two should be easy.

Hope that helps!
