Thanks! I'll be listening to the Podcast today for sure. We are going in December and I feel like the whole Fastpass +/Magic Bands is the biggest unknown of our trip. It's a huge unknown that COULD have a big impact.

We are going around the same time and I hope that all the issues are worked out and it is running smoothly by then. They have 9+ months to figure it out with the entire busy summer season to get it right.

I agree, we are going in October. And this is really the only thing that stresses me. I am one of those "unplanning" people. I have a few ADRs in mind over our 9 day stay but to actually plan which park each day so far out gives this "go with the flow" girl the heebie jeebies.

I know there are touring plans that have a best park day, but I really don't want to be that structured on vacation.

I would love more info on this as well! We are going in Sept and at this point honestly, I don't care if it is or isn't there I just want to know! I love the old FP- I can't do anything but try the FP+ but I really want to know if I need to get logged on at 60 days out to schedule rides!

Rehashing what we already knew. But it was nice to hear some of the same concerns voiced in that thread said out loud in another forum.

I am now within my 60 day arrival window, staying on site. It is so frustrating not knowing what to expect on my vacation. I don't live local and probably won't be back for another 2-3 years.

I am glad to hear a breakdown of all the information from that thread. Unfortunately I still think it all sounds awfull. I am really really hoping that I am completely wrong and Disney blows me away. But I don't want to plan that extensively...and I enjoy my husband putting his phone away while on vacation and not taking it out all the time, I would go bonkers if the cell phone had to butt it's way back into our vacation time

I hope this is WAY better that it sounds. Crossing my fingers!

One thing I'm concerned with (other than having to plan things I normally don't plan ahead), is that we are AP holders but live far away so some of our trips are extended (2-3 weeks), being limited to a certain number of FP's per quarter just doesn't seem fair for the way we vacation. I would rather have a cerain number per year, or so many per day - regardless of whether you are an AP holder or not.

Be Our Guest Restaurant to begin another round of testing FASTPASS+

The hugely popular 'Be Our Guest Restaurant' in the Magic Kingdom's New Fantasyland is carrying out another round of FASTPASS+ testing during the next few days. Guests have been preselected from those staying at select resorts, and will be invited to try the FASTPASS+ reservation system for lunch. You can read more about this from the December test.
