Fastpass wait times in early June?

We're going in early June, and plan on sleeping in and not getting to the parks until early afternoon. I know that for the most popular rides- like Mission: Space and EE, and maybe Soarin'- the fastpasses will probably be gone by then. For the rest of the thrill rides at most parks (like the mountain range" at MK, or RNR, TT, etc,) what are my odds of being able to use Fastpasses? I'm just wondering if we get to the parks at 1:00, will we be able to get fastpasses throughout the afternoon, or are all the fastpass times going to be 8:00 at night (or gone already)? I know that there's no way to tell for sure, but if any DISers have gone in early June, I'd appreciate hearing from you.

I've been in early June three times now. Here are my experiences--

-MK: Fastpasses for Splash and Big Thunder usually aren't too hard to get in the afternoon. Return times are usually further away for Splash. With Big Thunder, it seems like the return time usually isn't more than 90-120 minutes away. Space Mountain FPs usually go a lot quicker-- if there are any left buy early afternoon, they're usually for much later in the day. The hardest FPs to get in the afternoon, though, are at Peter Pan's Flight-- they seem to run out quickly, and the standby line is usually really long in the afternoon.

-Epcot: The hardest FPs to get are for Soarin', since it is so popular and slow loading. If there are any FPs left an the early afternoon, they're usually for late in the day (8:00-9:00). Test Track used to be like that, but it's not quite as bad now since Soarin' has diverted some traffic away (plus you can use the singles line there if neccesary). I wouldn't worry about Mission: Space at all, as the wait usually isn't more than 10-15 minutes most of the time anyway (and less than that in the singles line), I guess due to people being scared off (which is good for me, it's my favorite attraction at Epcot!)

-MGM: The only hard-to-get FPs are usually at Rock n' Roller Coaster, but in early June you should be OK. Tower of Terror is pretty easy to get Fastpasses for, as are all the other MGM attractions.

-AK: I haven't had much problem getting FPs for anything here. Never experienced Everest yet, so I don't know how that goes, but I'm assuming they'll go quicker than at the other rides here.

Hope this helps, and hope you have a great trip! We'd normally be joining you then, but we had to push our trip to July this year. First week of June crowds are not as bad as mid-July.

garrettjd,

how are the crowds in early June? We will be arriving on June 4 this year. We have never been to WDW in the summer before. Last summer we visited Disneyland in August and found it to be much better than we expected for an August visit!

We will be arriving June 4th, too!! This will be our third trip during early June and we have always found the crowds to be very manageable. Our experience with FastPass is pretty much what GarrettJD posted. We aren't big thrillseekers so we don't ride RNR, TOT or M:S. We have noticed that since M:S and Soarin' opened it is a lot easier to obtain FP's for TT. The first couple of times we went the FP's for TT would be gone by late morning/early afternoon. Hope to see you there

Hey MSTIEG,

Thanks for the info! We were always a "never in the summer" Disney family. Now only my daughter and I go as DH and DS have little to no interest! So since we managed at Disneyland in Aug 2005 we thought we would try early June for WDW! My daughter and I have been taking a trip by ourselves annually and we really enjoy the 1 on 1 time. We usually go during the school year but high school starts for her in the fall and she doesn't want to miss the days... sigh!
