I am looking for some information on how long to expect to wait when I have a Fastpass for the Mine Train. We are going the first week of June and I have a fastpass for Monday June 1 at 10:15am and we have lunch reservations at Be Our Guest at 11:00am. If we arrive within the 5 minutes early window, will we have enough time to wait in the fastpass line and make it to our reservation?

Also, if anyone knows of a site or page on here that has average wait times WITH fastpass, that would be very helpful when planning.

Thanks!!!

If you arrive at the start of your FP window, you should be fine for your lunch reservation. They are fairly close together, and I imagine even waiting in the FP line, you'll be done with the mine train within half an hour.

We used FPs for the mine train twice last week and both times we waited about 5 minutes to be boarded.

If you get to the ride at 10:15 you should be done with plenty of time to spare. Chances are you will be off the ride before 10:30 and the walk from there to BOG is no more than 5 minutes.

Thank you for the info!

I would love to see a list of how long each ride is with a fastpass since they can vary so much.

They don't vary much at all. Soarin' is probably one of the longest, but normally won't take more than 15 minutes at most. Everything else is going to be less.

We used 20 FPs on 17 different attractions last week and we didn't wait more than 5-10 minutes for any of them.

As Mesaboy said, Soariin can take longer to actually get on the ride, but that is a result of how the boarding process works. Once you get past the second checkpoint, you still have to wait to get placed into one of the boarding rooms and then wait there for the preceding ride cycle. Test Track also takes longer because of going through the design room, but we didn't use a FP there on this trip.

The longest waits seem to occur after a ride has been down for an extended time but, of course, that is unpredictable. Last week we were two trains away from boarding EE at about 8:45 AM when the ride went down, and it didn't reopen for a couple of hours. When we went back to use the single rider line at about 12:30, the FP line went out as far as the bridge toward the Nemo theater. The single rider line was longer than usual too; we waited about 20 minutes for that.

Our wait in the FP line last night wasn't even 5 minutes.

I've done FP on 7DMT three times, each time the wait was under five minutes. The ride takes a minute or two and it is right next to BOG. If you get online at 10:15, you'll likely be standing at BOG at 10:30 waiting for them to let you check in (they don't allow check ins for lunch until you're within 15 minutes of your ADR)
Also, there is a limit to the number of preorders available for each time slot. I didn't realize this, tried to order a few hours in advance and got locked out. If you know what you want, order it the day before, it'll save you a lot of time at the kiosk.

I have gone on the ride 5-6 times since last June and never waited more than 5 minutes.

If you have 11:00 am ADRs for BoG, you'll be entering the castle around 11:30 :)

This has not been my experience.

Really? We've been there twice, and waited twice. Not sure if that's a sufficient sample size :)

Then again, we do specifically request West Wing, so that could play into it somewhat.

If you have a fastpass for the mine train, in my experience (have done this about 8 to 10 times) you will be in and out within 10 minutes. Unless the ride breaks down. The ride itself is just under 2 minutes long.

We pre-ordered our food, but they didn't have the order. Whatever tech they needed to retrieve the order wasn't working that day. So we had to go through the regular line, anyway.

I think you are talking about dinner ... For lunch you actually go in and find your own seat, so you wouldn't request west wing, you'd just hover there and wait for a table to open.
But yes, I would bet that requesting West Wing for dinner could mean a longer wait .... It's a much smaller room than the others.

You'll have plenty of time. We waited a grand total of three minutes to get on SDMT with FP!

I have an app on my cell called WDW Lines (t lines) and it gives the wait times and fast pass information too. I believe I got it through Touringplans.com It seems to be pretty good. I paid $12 for a annual access but I think this part was free.

We just got back and our wait was only a few minutes. But if you are concerned, keep in mind you can enter 5 minutes before your official time, so for a 10:15 time, you can get in at 10:10, giving you 5 more minutes of buffer between the two events.

:thumbsup2 Agreed. We've always found FP wait times to be consistent. Barring any mechanical difficulty - Soarin' was definitely the longest.

Easter evening we waiting about 10 minutes to get through the fp+ line for 7 dwarfs. As far as bog waiting, we did have to wait last year for our dinner reservation for about 30 min past our res time until we could be escorted inside to a table, no specific wing requested.
