Fastpass+: Use both Magic Band & Ticket

Hi all,

I'm staying off-site and want to purchase Magic Band's since my kids really want to have them. The question i have is if whether or not both the Magic Bands and the regular tickets will work for checking into fastpass+ rides. I have a son that does all the rides but a daughter that does not. Usually what happens when we go to Disneyland and use fastpass is that my son and I double up on the popular thrill rides (using my daughter and wife's faspass). I want to make sure that if we get Magic Bands, we can still use the tickets (for my daughter and wife) to get into fastpass rides. I don't them to have to take of their bands so that my son and I can go on a ride twice.

Have not been to DisneyWorld yet so any advice on this is appreciated.

You can't use a band or card assigned to you to redeem fastpasses assigned to someone else. You would have to take THEIR band or card. If they have a card that is active on their account then you can take that.

The only issue I could see with using their band is that when you scan it at the fastpass entrance for the ride it shows the person's name on the worker's computer screen. If they aren't paying attention is shouldn't be an issue, but I don't know if they would say something or not...Anyone actually used someone else's band before?

We did this last month. 2 of us didn't want to ride the mine train, took their bands up to the FP line with no problem.

Correct, and it is not an issue to worry about, even if the CM is paying attention.
