Fastpass today in hollywood studios?????

I hope I'm doing this in the right way, I've never done this before. I just read a post on FB saying fastpass + was down now in Hollywood studios today while they work on it. Anyone know anything?

it's quite possible. It's still in testing phase so makes sense that it might be down from time to time.

There's always Legacy FP as a backup when the test goes bad. Oh wait....

I know 2 families there this week and haven't seen any updates from them. I'm not sure what parks they are today but if what you said is true it would really stink if they are in HS.

Yea they had to get rid of the legacy fastpass systems so they could expand their test of the FP+ system to handle increased FP+ loads. They couldn't increase FP+ usage if people were still pulling legacy fastpasses.

It's a normal course in a rollout of a new feature. At some point old features need to be disabled.

The poster of the info says they are sending people to guest relations at the front of the park and that TSM is at 210 min. Right now. I have been obsessively reading all the threads about FP+ and have never seen anything about this happening. I just wondered if any one could verify this today.

They could've, I don't know, maybe just turned off Legacy FP rather than going all in and ripping out LFP.

OP: normal course, just a test, not the PP's vacation, everyone there can roll with it, it's okay.

Perhaps to ask if anyone has any information pertaining to the outage? Or maybe to alert those who have FP+ scheduled in DHS for later today?

MDE app is only showing a 105 min wait - that's not so crazy for presidents week crowds

"So entrance turnstiles, all FP+, two major attractions, and one of the only breakfast locations at DHS are down or delayed today. WOW."

Someone else tweeted that ToT wasn't/isn't running and RnR opening was severely delayed.

"Word is that FP+, entrance turnstile systems didn't restart correctly after a planned power test last night at DHS."

"Studios entrance turnstiles, Fastpass+ machines currently down, no ETA. Those not yet at DHS should consider another park."

I saw pictures on Twitter they are handing out paper fastpass+. Very interesting to see how this is working, it's really the biggest problem since everyone went to all FP+.

Interesting! I wonder if that paper FP is good for just one ride though? I would be so ticked off if it was! I mean...it's bad enough you only get 3 now.

Wow, DHS sounds like a mess today. I assume that this means that everyone is in standby or are the CM's allowing people in the FP+ lines if they can show that they have FP scheduled?

ETA: I see that they are giving out paper fastpasses. How do they coordinate those?
