Fastpass Timing Question

I'll be staying on site from Sat, Mar 24 to Thur, Mar 29.

We will be attending the parks from Sun, Mary 25 to Thur, Mar 29.

If I understand correctly, we can book our fast passes 60 days in advance of our checkin date, even though we are not attending the park that day. If our checkin is Mar 24 (2018), I calculate Jan 23 as the day we can get fastpasses. I also understand that we can book fastpasses for our entire stay. In other words, I can book fastpasses for Mar 29 (our checkout date) as early as Jan 23, which is 60 + 5 days. Is my understanding correct?

Also, I'm wondering what happens on MDE at 7:00 a.m. on Jan 23 when I hit refresh. I assume the calendar, which currently only allows me to select up to 30 days in advance, will change to allow me to select days for which I am staying onsite?

I'm only 2 days away, so I want to make sure I'm doing all this correctly. Thanks for your help.

P.S. I did not purchase a package. We bought our tickets (with Canadian discount) separately but they are linked on MDE.

Yes.

Yes, it expands to a full 60 days + length of onsite stay.

Thanks for the quick response. I red the FP FAQ, just wanted to make extra sure as I haven't done this new approach before. Thx again.

Yes to all your questions...you can get FP at 60 days out for all your whole trip, the calendar will change to allow you to do that, and Disney will email you on that day to tell you to make YOur FP. But in my experience, they usually do that late in the day and you’ll want to do them as early as possible.

I'll be on there right at 7:00 a.m. (4:00 a.m. local time).
