Fastpass return

I've heard first fastpass return were NEVER before 10 am even during EMH and taken at 8 am. Anyone knows something about that ?

We got some of the first fastpasses for EE last week at 9:05 and they were for 10:05-11:05. I am not sure about what happens at 8:00 EMH, as we did not attend any of those last week, we were trying to avoid the parks with the biggest crowds.

A number of times over the years we have arrived at Test Track at opening, grabeed FP, got on stand-by and then rode again with the FP almost immediately after our first ride. So, yes FP return times are before 10am.
If you are able to use the single-rider lines at the attractions sometimes they are even better than the FP lines.
