Even adjusted for inflation the era you are referring to had rack rates that were **extraordinarily** cheaper then they are now. After the current travel boom ends (which may be sooner then expected with the way the pandemic is unfortunately progressing), Disney is going to be in deep doo doo with hotel occupancy rates, especially in the “values” (lol what a name these days).I was positing that there was an era of Disney, not too long ago, where there was similarly no real incentive to stay onsite. People did it because they liked being on Disney property.
