Today my mother and I visited Magic Kingdom. The crowds were pretty heavy, but we actually managed to get every single ride in that we wanted to. (Note that we chose not to do Space Mountain today, as we're saving it for later.)

I attribute this to the fact that we actually ended up using 7 Fastpasses today. We even saw the parade and the fireworks, ate at BOG for Lunch and Liberty Tree Tavern for dinner. On our previous trips, we were lucky to get 4.

On average, how many Fastpasses do you get to use at MK? Is it more or less than the other parks?

Fastpasses we used:
7DMT
Peter Pan
BuzzLightyear SRS
Haunted Mansion
Pirates
Jungle Cruise
The Little Mermaid

Other rides we rode:
TTA Peoplemover
Carousel of Progress

EMH rides:
BTRM
Winnie the Pooh

We can manage 12 to 15 fastpasses per day in MK pretty easily. Less in other parks.

On average we get the initial 3 and then 2 more.

I don't think its too hard to get more as long as you're not trying to get headliners for the additional FP+ selections.
I find that Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, Under The Sea, and Buzz Lightyear are plentiful and easy to get as additional FP+'s.

We also take full advantage of RD and EMH so we never have an issue getting everything done that we want to do in a single day.
We can get sooo much done in the first 2 hours of park opening.

I definitely find it easier to get more FP+'s at MK because there are so many attractions that offer it and there are no tiers.

We usually end up getting between 10-15 FP per day at MK. It's a lot more than we're able to get at other parks. With the phone app it's so easy to check and see what's available when we get done with a FP, and grab something else that starts within 15-20 minutes.

I can not imagine getting that many fastpasses! To be fair though, my mom and I are both adults... so Barnstormer and character meets aren't something we spend our time doing.

Just the opposite if we use 3 it's a strange day. We never book them in advance, if we book them at all it's while standing in line for another ride. If we want to ride a ride, we just stand in line for it. If we think the lines too long we move on, but we go often and it's not all about the rides for us.

I am sure it is easier with 1 or 2 people to find an available slot. What is the norm with a group of 4 or 5? Seems like that would push it down to around 7-10

We were going with 5 and we were getting things like Haunted Mansion, Winnie and Dumbo, etc. One thing that surprised me was M&Gs. We had little to no luck with them. Tink was the only one we got in MK. Anyone have better luck recently? We went in May last year when they just switched over and I feel like maybe the system is working better now.

I can't wait to see how many DH and I can get when we go in November! I think it will be a lot. LOL. When we were there last September we were with a group of 13, but last night there, everyone went back early (crazies!) but the 2 of us. We got all kinds of stuff. We even got 7DMT in the dark which I was determined to get. Probably refreshed MDE 100+ times, but we got it!
