Reading a new post I see that HM no longer has Fastpass. But it is still listed on the DIS Fastpass list! :confused3 What else on the list no longer has Fastpass? I am sure EE will have Fastpass, but should any other attractions be added to the Fastpass list? We are going in August so I want to be able to avoid some of the LONG lines. ;)

HM definitely didn't have FP when I was there in August, the the machines are still there, just covered. The longest I waited for this ride was only like 5 minutes, so you shouldn't need to worry about long lines. Can't remember off the top of my head anything else that used to have FP, but all the ones that they seemed to get rid of it from don't have very long waits at all (fastloading attractions usually)

I don't think Millionaire at MGM has Fastpass anymore. . .

Actually, I've saved the most time on RnR. Standby was about 70 min. Fastpass was nothin!!

The most time we saved with a Fastpass was actually at DisneyLAND, last June. We got them for the Indianna Jones ride, which is SO incredible (sort of the same type of ride as the 'going back in time to see the dinosaur' ride in AK, the name of which escapes me) and so popular that the wait was about TWO HOURS when we were there, for most of the day. By being at the park at rope drop, and using Fastpasses, we rode it 3 times that day, with our longest wait being about 10 minutes.

I totally love Fastpass . . .

We were just there in December and Soarin' is the newewst headline attraction so the waits for standby were by far the longest at that time. Even with the crowds extremely light, waits were 70 -100 mins. FP would get you on in 10 mins max. I would also agree with another poster, that RNR at MGM is also another good use. That ride tends to always be busy.

A good rule of thumb -- use fastpass everyday, all day at every park. You know which park you're going to go to the next day. Plan out the headliners you're going to ride and get a FP for your #1 ride first off. Then, when your FP window opens for your next ticket get your #2 FP ticket.

Here's a great little trick I learned from the DIS boards (and it does work), Your FP ticket says you have to do the ride between 12:20 and 1:20pm. Whatever! Go back any time later that day and the CM will let you on as long as it's after the initial time for FP. I got a Soarin' FP at 9am for a return time of 10:30 -11:30. Then I went and got another set of Fast passes for Soarin after my window opened up. We came back to EPCOT after our afternoon nap at the resort and went on Soarin twice back to back at about 8pm. It was really neat!

Have fun planning your trip! :goodvibes

I voted Test Track, as I know FP has saved me from many the 2 hr wait time, even in January!

However, I think it has saved me even more on Peter Pan and Winnie-the-Pooh, as well as Buzz Lightyear and Space Mountain. Oh, and Living with the Land...what makes that line SO long??? :confused3

Also, it definitely saved me on Soarin' last week!

I guess it's just generally saved me a lot of wait times at a lot of rides over the past few years! :smooth:

Really, FP has saved us time on every single attraction. The biggest timesaver for us was Soarin. We went in Aug, and the lines for that were at least 2 hours.

HM has such a fast moving line that it's not even worth getting a FP for. When we go, it usually has less then a 15 minute wait.

We've definitely needed and used it for RnR, Test Track, Mission Space, and Soarin but haven't always needed it for ToT, Splash, Thunder and Space Mountains.

The longest wait I've ever bypasses w/ a fastpass was Space Mountain. MK was jammed on the Saturday night after Thanksgiving. I had promised my son that we would ride Space Mountain. I nearly died when we walked up and the standby line was one hour twenty minutes! My husband and daughter went back to the resort, but I had promised my son, so we lined up. Low and behold, a man walked up to me and asked me if I wanted two fastpasses! Ten minutes later, we were loading. Best ride I ever had at Disney!

Actually we saved the most time on Space Mtn. Our kids love this ride and we spend hours on this ride alone, so fast pass is a must.

There are only two rides that I know that FP made a HUGE difference, one of which you mentioned, and the other isn't listed in your poll. The Haunted Mansion is always like an hour wait, so fast past would have helped. And the other is Peter Pan's Flight. The line there is longer than HM.

This whole post started because apparently there is no longer Fastpass at HM. :hmghost: Has it been removed or is it only used during peak times? :scratchin
