Fastpass + question

I have a child under 3 who wont need a park ticket but will be on our room reservation so she will have her own MB. When it comes to Fast Pass for like character greets etc. Do Mom and Dad have to have the same fast pass time as hers or can we just book the Fast Pass on her magic band and use our Fast Pass's for something else?

Fastpass is only available for those who have tickets. She does not have a ticket, and does not need her own Fastpass. So no, that is not an option.

you need a linked park ticket in order to make FP+.
since she is under 3 she will not have a park ticket therefore cannot make FP+ selections and will not need to.
the magic band is really just a souvenir for her as she will not actually need it.
if mom, dad, and daughter want to FP+ a character meet n greet then mom and dad need to have a FP+ for it.
