If I am taking my daughter to see A & E in Magic Kingdom. Do I get fastpass+ reservations for all 5 of us? We are ALL going to stand in line but only my daughter will be going up and talking to them and taking pics etc. Neither my husband or myself or either of our sons will be partaking.

I'm assuming I still need 5 fastpass+ reservations just to stand in line and be able to see her meet them???? MY little one will be 1 years old. Does he need one too?

Anyone under three does not need a FP. Anyone who is standing on line will need one to get on the FP line whether they are actually going to meet the characters or just watch. If all of you want to watch the little one hug Elsa, you all need to have a FP. If you're ok with mommy taking the kid while the others do something else and then ooh and ahh over the picture, then just get two and let the others do mine train or have an ice cream.

Thanks so much!!! I guess only having to get 4 is better then 5. :) Glad to know the baby doesnt need FP+ for anything. That's very helpful. Though since he sits on our laps during rides I suppose it makes sense. He doesn't take up any extra space.

The other thing you need to be aware of is that you try to get those FP+ for A&E as soon as the window opens at midnight Eastern time sixty days out from your trip (sometimes the system glitches and it is 1:00 AM Eastern by the way, so be prepared for that too) or you may not be able to get them at all.

Yeah, im hoping for good luck. Even getting them sounds confusing. Something about having to get 1 at a time and overlapping times. Cant i just try and reserve 4 together???

As I said before, no firsthand experience, so hopefully someone else can chime in to confirm or correct me, but I think you can try to get for the whole group at once. I believe the one at a time is a work around to try to get them once most are gone and there are no time blocks remaining with enough passes for the whole group; for example if you can't get four passes together, you try for one or two and then try for another one or two that partially overlap.
