Fastpass + question--MVMCP

I currently have a package with a 6 day base ticket. I have 6 days of Fps reserved already, but one of those days is for the Magic Kingdom where we will be attending MVMCP. The Fps are for after 4:00 as we are not planning to go to a park that day.

It looks like we are going to downgrade our package to a 5 day ticket. When I do that will one day of Fps cancel even if my resort stay extends for 6 nights? I would not mind canceling another day's FPs but I would hate to lose the FPs for the evening of MVMCP. How does this work and what should I do?

If you ALSO currently have a MVMCP ticket, that (in effect) gives you 7 days of tickets, counting the MVMCP day as the additional day.
If you only have 6 days worth of FP+ booked, canceling one of your regular ticket days
won't do anything negative to your 6 FP+ days.
