We were there in October, and they checked the time of the FP (ours had expired) they would not let us in the FP line - however, since I had fallen (spraining both ankles needing a wheelchair)I had asked about this in guest service and was assured I could use an expired fp - the CM taking the FP sent me to a manager...
Another guest was venting about the lack of FP for soarin, and the CM manager was listening and making suggestions, but was reminding the guest that if there were an unlimited amount of FP then the FP line would be as long as stand by...
(and he did ok my expired FP - it was 3 hour late) and the FP line seemed very long, but we timed it, it was a 20 min wait, compared to the 2 hour wait in standby...
