I know that we are able to make 3 initial choices but after those 3 are up we are now allowed more, my question is do we have to wait till we use our 1st three? Should u make my first 3 early so I can get more? If I make later choices will I not be able to get more?

1. Yes. (Sort of.) You have to wait until at least the Return Time of the 3rd FP+ has been reached.
You don't have to actually USE that last FP+.

2. Some choose that strategy.

3. Depends on how late, and which attractions for which you want to make FP+ choices.

Your first 3 can be made in advance and either on your phone, home computer or a park kiosk. After your initial 3 have been used, you may obtain a 4th at a park kiosk. Your 4th can then be modified (changed or time altered) from your phone app, but you can only choose your 4th initially at a park kiosk. After your 4th has been used, you may go to a park kiosk and obtain a 5th and so on and so forth (depending on availability.)

Also, after your initial 3 have been used at one park, your 4th and any subsequent FP+ after that can be for a different park.
