FastPass Plus - Fireworks Viewing

We are there 9 days so we have plenty of days to get in all the FP we want. We want a break day, to sleep in, check out the pool, spend some time over at DS etc. but we got the 9th day on the park tickets anyway because it didn't cost much more. In the end I wanted the ability to get additional FP so decided to add MSEP and Wishes FP on that day. We will eat dinner at Cape May and then head to MK just for the evening shows, have a POTC FP as well if we get there in time and want to use it but the purpose is the evening shows. I figure we will be well rested after not having toured that day and other evenings we can just head back and not have to worry about it. Not sure if we will do Illuminations or Fantasmic. We will see how we're feeling in the evenings and would grab FP later if available, if not, they are both very doable without.

We do the same basic thing even though we're only there for 7 days. We always have a sleep-in/relax day in the middle of the trip. We always buy tickets to cover every day of our trip so we have the ability to just spend a few hours in a park that day. That's usually the day we choose to focus on fireworks/night-time show because, like you said, we're well rested. We don't feel the need to do the fireworks in every park on every trip so we kind of rotate which show we do on our "sleep-in" day. On our upcoming trip, we'll be doing an Illuminations cruise because we really enjoyed that the last time we did one so we decided to it again. The night-time show at AK should be up and running by the time we're there so we'll have to do that one night as well...or maybe we'll save it for the next trip.

This gives me hope for multiple FPs when we go in early June this year! What were some of the rides that were available for the additional FPs?

Nothing like big rides-- and it will depend on what time your last FP is done.
For us we stay in the area of the FP kiosk. (example is Jungle Cruise- we take a FP for Jungle cruise and take what is available NOW. even with a wait of 5 minutes. then go back and take another for something that is close that is available NOW-- Carpets, Pirates. but the key is the FP should be NOW. When we ride the last we head back to the kiosk and get another for NOW in the area of the other Kiosk-- Philharmagic. Then go back and take IASW. (PP will be for later in the day and I dont want to tie up getting my FP. Take what ever is available NOW. Then move over to the other Kiosk-- Buzz light year. then go back and get Speedway. etc etc. Very easy Remember the lines appear long but thats because there are whole families in there while one person is making the choices. Do not let the line intimidate you

Thank you!! That's a plan that doesn't make the whole 4th+ FP thing sound so scattered. We plan to rope drop and finish our FPs before we take a nap break (kids under 5 with us) at 1pm, then return to the park around 4pm. The afternoon is where I was hoping to pick up more FPs.

Make sure to go to a kiosk before you leave at 1:00 and schedule a FP for around 4:00. You can always modify it from your phone/computer in the room while napping if you can't get back to the park by the scheduled time.
