FastPass Opinion for these two shows

I have consulted the Fast Pass priority chart http://www.disboards.com/threads/fa...ed-priorities-and-strategies-part-ii.3326057/

For Fantasmic and Finding Nemo, do these shows fill up and they turn people away? or can I still get in without the fastpass?

Like everything else, that information changes with crowd-level, dates, schedules and timing of the shows.

It is quite possible to see either show without a FP, but if you CAN get a FP for them, it can
make it "more assured" of getting in earlier and finding a "better" seat.

Some guests are not too concerned with getting specific seating at one or both of the shows,
so if that's the case, the FP is less important.

I think you'll get in to either show regardless (barring unusually busy times like Christmas and the like, where it may be more questionable), but the FP may get you a better seat. We saw Nemo without an FP a while back, and I remember thinking that it seemed that practically the whole theater had an FP. We got in the standby line about 5 minutes before showtime, and only about 10 families were ahead of us. When we walked into the theater, it was full of FP+ users already. We got a decent seat anyway, as the CMs were trying to fill in space down in the front.

Thanks everyone for the insight. I just want to make the best choices for the fastpasses.

Fantasmic! and Finding Nemo FP+ can make good choices for 4th or 5th FP+ of the day.

Depending on crowd-level, both of those can be relatively easy to get later in the day.

I'm going to AK on a day when Extra Magic hours are going on. I'm hoping to finish up there and head to Hollywood Studios and make a FastPass selection for Fantasmic later that night.

hmm never thought of using my 4th or 5th fast pass for Fantasmic...that might be a possibility for us. We aren't sure about Fantasmic, we saw it last year but it scared my older son a bit. I think this year we are going to plan on playing it by ear. If he wants to do Fantasmic great if not no big deal. But if he does decide he wants Fantasmic we might try to get a FP for it as well :)
