FASTPASS How does it work?

Have never used it, and I don't quite understand how it works. Do I have to be waiting in line at the exact time on the fastpass or is there a timeframe like say 10:00 to 10:30? Do I scan all of our tickets to get the fastpasses for all of us? Any help would be greatly appreciated

You will need to enter each ticket (one at a time) into the fastpass machines. The tickets will give you a return time, actually a time-frame, such as 1-2, 4:05-5:05, etc. Generally, the time is an hour, but for a few attractions, like Little Mermaid, it is a much shorter time (10 minutes, I think). You can arrive anytime within the time window. Note that fast passes can run out on busy days.

Have a great trip and do use Fastpass - they can really help with your touring; afterall, waiting in line as little as possible makes your trip that much better. Enjoy!

One other thing to know. At the bottom of the fastpass, it says "You can receive another fastpass at xx:xx". It's usually five minutes after the current fastpass window opens. In other words, if you get a FP for Splash Mountain that is good for 10:00-11:00, then you can get another FP at 10:05. Sometimes, early in the day, that timeframe is almost instantaneous, so it pays to look at the time. In the above example, if you pulled the FP at 9:00, it may say you can get a new one at 9:15, which is BEFORE your Splash window.

Also a few shows are not connected to the fastpass system so you can get a fastpass to Lights Motor Action and anything else at MGM even if your Fastpass that you got first does not have the new opening yet. I generally get the next fastpass before riding the first ride.

HUH? I never knew that. Which shows are you talking about? Is there a list?
